yep but was talking about the modulation envelop that is usual ADSR, for filter modulation for a bassline it work good it s tight even at very fast decay time. too bad it s not posible to lock the phase to the gate. there is maybe be some tricks with the semi modularity but i haven t experimented yet.
the amp envelop you have A/D stage for drums and percussion or some pads (but with a mono synth.. still can make pseudo pads with the oscs... but i would rather use my plugs for this)
the second one ASR for usual leads and bassline.
then the two last one i haven t experimented much with yet , their are accented depending velocity it s good for more expressing sound, first one is good for pluck or drums second one is good for percussion or sound that need different decay time..
but i wish it coudld be switched to a usual adsr too.. but usually for most sound it s ok and enought flexible
you can make really funky sound with these envelops ,there is also a accented A/D as modulation to do smilar effect like on 303..but i havent experiment and understood all this...it s not clear in the manual and need to spend some time on it..still haven t patched a cable in it to use the semi modularity, it s already deep wihtout.. but this synth is not that easy to program.. sometimes i can spend 30 minutes and and dont make any sound that will WOW me.. but then i turn a knob and i m in pardise with a mind blowing leads .. just need more experience with it.
when i get some cash i will exend it with maybe a vco like the makenoise one and filter, maybe the moog one to get some warmth ,the one included is very acid sounding the 2 bp is amazing |

made a few more ,might fine tune later for now i tried to hide the crap with fxs  or feel free to tweak these and repost. the broken 303 preset drived me nuts.. nothing special but with the midi line i tweaked it and the beat.. lol was totally in trance tweaking the macro on some goa , it was savage

Strange that we dont have many friends in this bank. will be fun...anyway...
Do you want to put a deadline and put after all our sounds in one folder (bank) and upload em here? at least a first part of our bank...hope to involve more guys too...

nice ! will do some more in the next week too, more bread and butter leads. full on bass, maybe some drums and fx and athmo if i m inspired lol.
i got a sound that remind me a jew arps with one of the patch( sergio on acid) but it turned out totally different after tweaking i lost the initial sound beeing not focused on it.. gona try again to get something that sound a bit similar.
just for fun i made a loop with some of the patchs, massive bassline,massive kick, it turned out nice..i think i will make a tune with just the presets we made once it s done
for the deadlines as you want no problem. would be nice to reach at least 64 patchs in total, maybe we should post in others forums |

Massive is like a drug...the more you play with it the more addicted to it...
I can even imagine when you can stop with it....
I'm new in massive and every day i discover something new...
As for full on bass...this is a bad story for me until now. Something sounds bad to me when i make one. I must experience more on this...Maybe cause i felt in love with all of these experimental opportunities that synth have (you know what i mean) thats why most of my patches are atmos and pads.
My second part will be more on psy taste and i hope to make a good bass too.
64 patches sounds to me ok for our first bank! hehe see you soon then

for bassline i made one earlier that was not bad when doing that loop for fun using the presets ,it was doing the trick..but with sound on top.. in solo with the kick i guess it was not that good but nothing was processed.
it s not bad at bass with long note, youknow these full on bass that drive the kick but sound almost like one long note in the low,with no silence between notes, when in the sweet spot it can really drive..but it s tricky for presets, keytracking,tempo,notes used,velocity ...the magic is gone wihtout using similar ones ,i find sweet spots are small on this synth, i find it really tricky to program, maybe need more time.
fm8 is bad ass too..maybe we should make some presets for fm8 after this one |

My second bank going very well. After of some more experience with the envelopes i made some nice bass and kick patches. i will make few of them and next i focus on some killer leads to have a nice bank. hehehe
PoM do you think that with this baby (massive) we can make a whole track? every day i love it more...

sure you can make a whole tracks including the drums..but i wont bother programing drums on it personally, i have my fr XS waiting for this , i just scratched the surface ..i have to put some time into learning it better .
i made a few more full on leads for massive , i fix them and will upload and trash some of the one i uploaded, will just keep my favs for the bank.
with this synth i struggle to get the leads balanced like iwant with the filters..it ever sound a bit muddy or harsh , never really satisfied .. need to experiment more with the filters module |

Until sunday will be upload my second part 
Some decent basses and kicks already made...i'm in on process to make some killer and psy leads to complete my bank, some more tweaks and will be ok.
I'm thinking if i have time to make a cover also for the bank...
I work as web designer and that will be easy, but the problem is the time cause now i have some projects to finish.
