Is it OK to like Full-On as long as you call it Full-On?

I (and Arash) was at a Astrix party this Friday here in Copenhagen. A kid aproched me to talk. He was young (18) and he was on a small dose of x2c. Now, exept for that fact, he was just a youngster enjoying music. He asked me if I also loved Full-On as he did, and I said no, I like to dance to psytrance and Progressive mostly. .. He didnt know what it was, he only knew the term Full-On and Skazi (which he didnt like at all). So is it ok to like Full-On as long as you call it Full-On and not psytrance. .. I dont know, but I thought it was ok. As long as he didnt claim it to be psytrance, which he didnt do.

For the gig of Astrix, he played good. But I spendt the most of the time grooving to progressive music in another room. (The chill zone was bad in sound and vibe quality.)

Fullon is subgenre of psytrance so in general it could be called psytrance. What is the point of your words? Is it a question or thought ?           "there once was a lesbian from Cancun

Some full-on is very psy and some isn't, so I don't really agree, it depends upon your definition of Full-on, I consider most twisted Rec. stuff as being psy-full on.

Only psychedelic trance can be called psychecelic trance.. sure 0.01% of full on qualifies as psychedelic so I suppose it's okay to call those 2 tunes psytrance. The other gazillion.. not           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

All Goa is psytrance, but psytrance is not Goa.

Lets make a family tree!

GOA
|
|
|
PSY-TRANCE -------- Full-On ---- PSY-Dance
|
|
|
????

Please, edit the tree to make it correct.

Yes, Kire-naj, it is something like that, bit more complex but the idea is the one you mentioned. Fullon is sub genre of Psytrance coming from Goa.           "there once was a lesbian from Cancun

I concider Twisted to be Psytrance. Not Full-On. But some tracks may be Full-On. But in general, Twisted Rec. releases Psytrance.

Apart from twisted, can someone tell me what other label is releasing quality Psy these days?

Please don't say NO ONE!

Kire-Naj, hope you don't mind me asking this Q here.

Cheers!
