Prospect this is also why in our own beloved country the underground "hat" parties are about to vanish , most people go big for the money and won't do "hat" parties anymore only big party where there money is insured.
(once again oof my own topic  )
 i loved this scene when it was underground - mainstream really ruined a bit from it's unique and quality IMO.

fuck the mainstream !!
im quite sure that in the future full on will become repulsive .. for most people.. !
music is a way of EXPRESSION ... not a way to make money !!... if u make money from it but u don't like what u are doing ... it's not worth it !
but if u like what u are doing and make money from it ... it means u know how to express your self 
let the trance stay on the ART side ... don't make it commercial ..... |

Yeah...
anyway ... i think prosect is right ... when he said that the label owners should take some "risks" and expierament with new style except fullon ...
many people i know don't like progressive stuff becuase they don't even know it !
full on is like a brain wash !! they think it's the only genre in the world of trance...
the reason might be the fact that not so much progressive va compilation are realesed or get played at big parties ...
maybe the DJ won't play it becuase he afraid the audience won't dance ... well .. my DJ friends .....

i read that interview with beat hackers- what i can say - they talking shit as all these interviews are brain fu**.
He says that he hates commercialism but on the other hand he moved to full on - to get money and bookings - nonsense.
interviews make me sick - every one is writing that his grandma learnt him to play on piano or on wooden candies - so he writes he has connection to music - cmon..... make me laugh on these
there is alot progressive in many countries but from what i heard in israel - its a full on country without progressive scene - sad for all you israelis

I really wish israel would be more open to techtrance and progressive , there are people who like it here i guess not enough....

Come on people... You can't be in this scene for the money. If you want to make money you have to be in the mainstream trance scene like Armin Van Buuren, Tiėsto and others. This scene has never been about the money, nor should it become something that's about the money. It's nice to make some money along the way, but most psytrance producers are just in it because they think the music is great! And that's just the kind of thought that's keeping this scene so special.

That is pretty sad. As I found your more experimental psy... Great.
It's funny how this genre doesn't like fresh air. Branch out, and explore... There is a whole nother realm of sound, that is quite frankly, more psychedelic than the over played, cloned full on sound. |
