This album is definitely geared more for the head and less for the ass, but that's really cool! You can't judge how someone's music is going to sound based on where they come from. Here in SF, we've been fortunate to experience music from many artists that live here and the ones that visit us while playing. It's only natural that some of us gravitate to some artists more than others...
I remember meeting La when he still was playing metal in bands and just started coming to parties... We've been through hell and back together and it's really good to see all of his hard work be emphasized in a full length... This dude's got serious talent, not just musically either, and a different way of looking at things that can challenge your own perspective...
This album takes a few listens to really be able to understand it, but I like that. It's got some seriously deep psychedelic gems in there, and for some people it's easy to discard that saying he sounds like someone else or sounds random... The only time something is random is when you don't understand the order that it's in. All in all, I'm really proud of him and am looking forward to more of his stuff to come out... and to finally write one with him at some point.

This is THE album of 2007. It still frequents my CD player. This music is not for everybody...

how abt having it little bit for the ass and little bit for the brain eh ?
keep the anatomy satisfied ... hehe
personally i was slightly dissapointed with this album,,, production is superb , some ideas are stellar
but i got disoriented sometimes listenin to some tracks
ive heard some spanking stuff by lalith before n after this album ,,, so i know he cud have written a better album
just a personal opinion
but having said that this an interesting cd and is worth a listen
p.s - enjoyed the leary samples ...

^^^ I tend to agree with dudi ... Amental is one of my favourite artists .. Hands down ...
But in this album the were some brilliant moments punctuated by frequent borings ones .. Maybe because its more of an album than a bunch of tracks ... Anyway
.... will eagerly look forward to his next releases ... Be it amental or sonic scissor

9.5/10 for creativity and psychedelia

True night time psy!! very very psychedelic tunes here, wasn't disappointed at all when i first heard it! A few more listens and liked it even more!!
Killer album La, a lot of work has gone into this one, and it clearly shows!
