First time i see in isratrance a review about an album which is still unreleased but is all over the net. Why do you care so much about infected mushroom? What do I care? I shouldn't. Don't you get it? Infected do not write there music for us anymore - us - the true pure psychedelic trance babas or any other Hindu world that you would use. Its not the music for the ppl who dance in Goa anymore or in the nature in Israel. Its for kind who dance in big clubs mtv style.
Bottom line they do not aim 4 us we are not the target so why do we care why every 15 minutes there is another topic about "infected are not like in the past".
From this day - I do not care anymore.
There is enough true trance music in the world.

It is official, Infected Mushroom isn't PSYTRANCE!
for real, not for nothing, but this album is WACK! im not going to go through a whole break down of every track, this album is some next level crap!
seriously psytrance community, this is garbage. im not an infected mushroom hater by any means neither. I have seen them 3 times live back in the day... when they were good, producing psychedelic music.
the beats are all bubble gum, wack, cheesy, corny, etc. duvbef or eref, which ever one of them is the oldest, must have taken some infected mushroom thought he can sing, and has been stuck in that trip forever. dude, you can't sing. sounds like crap. his voice is gritty, husky, sounds horrible. when they do there little shpongle esq improvized voice scatting, they just sounds stupid, thats not "psychedelic" in any way what so ever. thats not cool, not musical, its wack man.
this isn't psychedelic.
it isn't good.
(artillery... enough said... and all the songs sounds like poor video game music... atari days)

Psh. Your post reeks of bitterness that belies your claims of not caring. If you were 'left behind' by Infected as they moved on from the strict psy genre that's your own problem. But I guess I shouldn't mess with an Israeli forest dancer like you. You probably hold the esteemed position of judging true music that is written for the people, from music written for... mtv?
If they're not your style, that's fine. But you can't pull this whole "true trancer" b.s. Music is music. And you can't deny that Infected has musical talent. They still know how to get the dance floor pumping and get the energy flowing. They know how to give people a great time.
If you feel they aren't aiming at YOU anymore, well, that's you. They evolved, whether into something good or bad is a matter of opinion.
"MTV style"? Even Tiesto doesn't make it on MTV my friend. If electronic music can reach more and more people through a broader audience, that's a great thing. Even if the music is no longer your cup of tea. More people accepting quality electronic music= a greater acceptance of our culture and more opportunities to do what we love: dance with our fellow humans.

That was made official a long while ago in repeated interviews in which they stated they no longer wished to be considered as such. Nonetheless there is still a psy influence in their music, even if only held in the background.

aaah, Mushmushi, what a track!
I just adore the guitar in the beggining of Bust a Move, simply amazing and quite original. Release me has one hell of a start with freaky alien vocals, dont get better than this!
Listen to the superb melodies in Symphonatic, what the HELL!
CD 2 - the other side has lots of gems, I Wish, Ballerium fucken rock the freestyle world! lots of amazing relaxation music.

well i saw the videoclip for this album.. if u just mute the souund, u have to say thats some kind of metal band, i found it ridiculous.. the asthetic message comming from the image just makes no sence and seems violent with ppl falling to ground and blood evrywhere ..
althoug, im still waiting to listen to the hole album and hopefully i'll be able to take some juice from there.. or mby not, who cares anyway..
BUT yea they still keep some crasy ideas, some make laugh some make cry 
and despite all things i don tlike, this guys still making some the best melodies around and if the grinding they do on synths is not psy, wtf is it then... |

Infected Mushroom left psy trance music behind them since the days of B.P.Mpire and thats many years ago if you ask me so i dont understand what people are complaining about today March 2007.
All we can do is wish them good luck with their future plans and thank them for some magical tunes like Bust A Move,Wider,Merlin,Red Filter,Noise Maker,Dancing With Kadafi and more which is their heritage to the psy trance scene.
Me personally i would like to thank (if he ever reads this post) Erez Aizen who i consider as one of the greatest,among Simon Posford,Man With No Name and the likes,producers that ever got involved with psychedelic trance music for his great work in two way underated tracks like Blue Rythmic Night and The Messenger and especially the second one which is the definition of psychedelic trance music and how this kind of music should sound like.
Thanks for the memories and good luck guys.
