I did get your point, slomi : enjoying the music, without caring whether I get it on an original CD or from an illegal mp3.
Fine.
The problem is that artists making the tracks we love so much are not pure ethereal entities, they need to eat also. Isn't it a bit too selfish not to think about it ?

yes jeff, my friend art factory just went now to grab sth to eat...
we paid fair by our dayjob, so he dont care about spreading it through soulseek, its legitimate promotion...
its only the isratrance comunity that bother so much about money... the jewish people who think while they stoned how to get money one from the other, in the mean they loose much of the creativity...

if u want to support your artist, then buy one cd of them, the rest u will dowload, sounds ok?
they at list know somone listen to them, and anyway more of the artists their further albums sounds the same...

I agree with you. Talking all the time about p2p softwares and ftp sites involuntarily advertises them.
Yet, this is only one factor among many others I'm afraid.

This forum does not support illegal downloading.
If you want to talk about such things, there are plenty of other forums who will accept your ideas. Not here.

i agree with jeff (and slomi's thought on the same) - we need to stop talking about it here - it seems to advertise the programs and sites more - thus inevtiably driving up the total number of dowloads. |

Its not about money my friend, its about moral.
Let me put it in a simple way:
1) Artist make music, people BUY music, artist is able to make MORE music.
2) Artist make music, people download mp3, artist dont get money to live, no more music from artist.
Now, what is the correct way do you think?
