Sounds great - really tight - that last soundcloud version. But lacking in a bit bottom end? It sounds like it could use a touch of extra bum (sub 80Hz somewhere) in the studio here.

I boost the bass in the frequencies of the key of the bass "B" 61hz ,you suggest make another boost in 80hz?

pd. what monitors are you using?

I was thinking it was lacking at about 80Hz. But that was a guess from a quick listen. I think Jizy is on the money. Cut don't boost to get the extra bass. Also whoever said just try a different note speaks wise words.

I'm listening on a pair of Genelec 1032As and Senheiser HD600s. The room is partially treated, but I don't 100% trust it at the low end.

What synth + processing did you use on that last version anyway?

Sounds promising but the bassline is maybe lacking a little in pitch clarity. I'd be tempted to try a cut around 190Hz. If I was feeling adventurous, I'd also try a high shelf on the bassline - no more than -2dB gain - to soften the mids and highs of the bass against the kick. That's the sort of thing I'd probably end up tweaking here and there until the track was finished, to make sure it didn't either take over, or lose bite compared to the other sounds in the track.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
