Since the creator of Goa trance was Shadu all his work is in this music...when you say that allax has nothing to do with rock.. all music started at the creation of time ,,,saw everthing from that point is related and its not d...gs that couses that ...but trance is goa trance ..goa is spiritual ..saw the 1ns that shit on spiritual ,shit on the music...thats true///combian why you see shadows or serpants or devils in this music ...and the 1ns that read playboy and shit ,,have now were to reach no goal in life..a circle with no way out |

trance music is trance music my friend.It started much earlier than goa....."Goa" trance was a development of trance music. THANKFULLY this music is considered as dance music and not as a hippy or religious movement. The goa movement has this elements (hippy and spiritual and religious).Pls don't put such stamps in a global dance movement.
I respect your spiritual way of looking at trance.BUT for sure trance is not GOA.Especialy nowdays...lets get over it at last.
goa WAS a development of trance music.

yeah ok trance is spiritual...spirituality is not only goa...goa is a geographical location man...get your shit straight...i can not hear the goa is trance theory one more time....trance exists way before thousands of ppl discovered goa, went there and took drugs like there is no tomorow and had the profound and misleading mind revelation that suddenly anything psychedelic is goa and anything goa is trance....comon!!!!

Maybe you are right in a point but think.
Holy land for Cristian religion is in the Midle East.
Today is nothing like 2000 years ago but still is a holy land
for cristians like and Mekka also for Muslims.
By the same way Goa is the "religion" place for psytrancers.
The place hith the holy energy and the holy vibes.
Is not necesary to go there and find things like past 20 years because today been just a commercial place.
But Goa is still Goa and IF we talk about religion Trance this is the place.

sure but Paul has nothing to do with psy, right? I dont think there is anything psychedelic in his music, correct?
For me its very difficult to understand all these posts lately, maybe its the fact that I only listen to psy music and I dont have anything to do with that drugs-hippy-goa-india-spiritual-smurfs-elves-magical forests-religion- kiss my ass culture....  |

i am christian and i consider myself quite religious person. but that's not because of trance music or drugs.as far as i am concerned, these last two are strictly for recreation... though i can sense some spiritual vibes in goa trance music, i don't understand how can this become the mean to communicate or even understand God.
Personally, i like my religion and i don't like to consider trance as something that will unite me with an abstract and superior divine energy... it's something like yoga. many people do this as a religious and spiritual exercise. for me it's just a way of streching and physical exercise.
so, to sum up, it depends on each person's own beliefs (if any... )

trance is a type of music as you said but mostly all djs have a belife .like devil .satan ..hindu .. cristian..muslem... but that spreads more in trance music than any other ..and when you know that a dj has some type of belife you respect it because he has all ready played in maybe 20 times in the partie, saw trance combines lits of religion and not religion in the music ...if you see it not my do you feel spiritual vibes when you play or trip ,,if you dont feel that,,you flip and lose your mind . |

I just wanted to refresh our memories about trance music.Personaly i don't seperate anymore the psy or the prog or the groovy or the dark etc etc.Now days production quality is 100% guaranteed.I just can not forget what started all this.
You know what?On easter sven vath was at venue along with 2000 ppl.
Just don't forget what trance music is , and who started it... (can you remember 1989 sven vath's "la esperanza"...i still got the maxi single)
So spiritual fellow trancers... of course there is not a "psy" or a "dark" or a "prog" element in sven vath's 1988-89 music.It is just trance and it is a 17 year old music scene.Development will always lead this music.It is sooo fucking expanted since these old days, that i can not even believe it sometimes....
