DEPAP stands for Dimotiki Epixirisi Politistikis Anaptiksis Peiraia and they are into organising events like painting exhibitions,classic music concerts,lectures against the use of drugs,theatre perfomances,folklor and traditional music events and stuff like that.The same organisation in the city of Patra are responsible for the local carnival and other happenings in the city.
I can assure you that this organisation or any other organisation that is affiliated with the greek government and financed by it have no intention or wish to help in the organisation of a trance party in Piraeus,Patra,Athens,Thesaloniki or wherever.
I mean what you will go and tell to these guys?
'Hello we want you to help us to find a place like a theatre or a public square in order to have a trance party with Astral Projection and X Dream plus to help us finance the whole event,can you please help us?Oh and please pay no attention to those drugged people,they were just passing by to check out the soundsystem'.
Trance music is not welcome in our country (in most countries of the world actually) and the reason for this is the bad behaviour of people in parties that dont respect anything and go to events just to use drugs and get lost in space while pretending to dance to the music.
If the people that go to parties change one day then and only then the authorities might look at us as just ordinary people that want to have fun.
Till then we will be treated as outsiders and a menace to society.

aliened and all the rest, if any of us gave a shit about the so called proper society, we would be listening to vandi...no one gives a shit...detox is just giving us a reality check here, and that is that society does not accept trancers, ravers etc.. it's a very difficult thing being a trancer, normal ppl hardly even believe that trancers have degrees, have a brain that works, most of us (i am not speaking about the burnedheads) have opinions and point of views far more groundbreaking and revelating than normal ppl do. anything diffrent for society is not accepable. it has been more than difficult for me, i have lost jobs bcz i listen to trance, bcz i used to date a trance dj, bcz i have 3 tatoos, no one cared that i was top of the class in all 5 years of law school...why? because it's just te way it is, has been and will always be. i hate the fundamental grounds of society more than you can imagine, but thats another thing...growing up you come to realize that the system can be beaten only from within...
so as much as we would like to dis society we are part of it... and since no trance tse gevaras are around to start a "revolution"... and since burned out trancers, with their face off on drugs, and their dislocated trembling jaws, white as snow zombie morning faces, violent and distructive from abusive drug use behaviour, have given a terrible stigma to our kind, it's highly unlikely that goverment based locations will give you permission to have a trance party. and if you actually get the permission and have a party, it will be the last...dont think they will allow you to do it again... as long as the majority of trancer are abusive drug users with fucked up behaviours, we will never be accepted and most importantly we will never party in peace....

Finally some people understand whats going on.
By entering the system (which in fact is something you cannot avoid if you want to be part of this society whether you like it or not) you have the chance to both change the system and at the same time change the small trance society.
People have to understand that what trance needs is people that will bring close the everyday society and the trance scene,we need people that will serve as links between trance and everyday life.
We need people that will expose the good side of trance to the rest of our society.

Another big club busted in Athens yesterday.
Sit back and relax and enjoy the show on tonights news featuring ravers,cocaine,xtc,famous actors and singers and many more happenings.....
Maybe its about time to start and listening Vandi and Ploutarxo,i mean he already has a new cd out plus all the 'good' and 'sober' people go to bouzoukia so its a nice place to go to listen to music and have fun...
