we need to support promoters , not blame for bad work ..or do parties self ..or we shud set up some special psy mafia , to control police and have own man in law buroe
anyway , psy trance scene is not commercial ..nothin common with paul van dyk and co ( dont like them all , nor tiesto , nor blank and jones )))))
i have my own parties , with only music i like ..
just put on headphones , insert cd and push the play button .. at least there is no one person who hates psy trance ( as like all these tiesto fans , kinda our enemies )))))

nice and then we will have the chance to learn some pakistanis word....get your self together.we are not animals we are humans so if i am willing to pay 25-30 europoyla i am waiting to be somethink good.i dont have problem with the music but for the rest athens needs a lot of work..... |

my friend ,you pay it, know 1 tells you to come to the party , lots of promotors say again and again the same thing, you choise to come , and lets be siriouse these price are 4 years the same 20,25,30, but you still complain after going all this years to the parties , in ten years the prices mite be 60 on the door, with the economy. so what you will say that 10 years ago it was 25 euros .. |

yes but 5 years ago i was 5 years younger my friend and i was parting in warehouse and everywere and i was paying this 25-30 europoyla i dont want now that i am older to be in the same condition!peaple in thesaloniki have parties in neraida an here in athens in danza or in holes for mouse.they have 2 stage we have one and this is to small for all of ass and you know what i mean. |

People in Thesaloniki dont have the police chasing them all the time.
And the situation changes from time to time dear Giatre,when Athens was having the biggest parties at Ark with 1500-2000 every 15 days and events at Plus Soda on the same dates with another 500 people there,then Thesaloniki was out of the trance map and when i called the artists that now play there all the time and asked them to have an event in Athens and then in Thesaloniki exactly the next day they replied to me 'we are not interested in Thesaloniki at the moment'.
You know things change from time to time so we all have ti live with that.
I hope one day that things will calm down in Athens and it will be possible to have big events again.

I don't remember a time in thessaloniki without party mr detox except a relax for 1-2 months last octomber,maybe we wasn't have 2 partys every 15 days but we was having one every 15 with great names.Are you dreaming???
Except if you mean that thessaloniki wasn't posting partys at isratrance

Dear Sahedelic in years 2002-2003 when Athens scene was blooming with organisations like Trance Alliance,Sunrise Zone,Natural High,Utopia and many more throwing big events every week then Thesaloniki had two main organisers fighting with each other concerning who would book Parasense and Skazi (who were not very well known in that time) and were competing each other concerning who would announce the most artists in their line up without bringing most of them,i mean i cannot remember how many times people like Tristan,Parasense and James Monro were announced in a line up and never appeared there.
I am not trying to degrade Thesaloniki or something like that but just stating the facts on how things change and Thesaloniki now is the 'trance capital' of our country a position that Athens held for many years now.
By the way do you know that most of the major artists at that time like GMS and Logic Bomb for example were being booked for Thesaloniki from Athenian promoters?This situation was taking place for more than 2 years you know. Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!! |

You think that the 2000 ppl that goes to athens partys from 2002-2003 care about who is the promoter or the ppl that go to salonikas partys care if the artist booked from an athenian guy.
Shake your head mate,you don't speak to promoters here,you speak to normal ppl that goes to partys.
We don't care if the party is from trancaalianz or spiralianz or interamerikan.

I think you are missing the point here. This thread the way i understand it, is expressing a complaint about high rates and charges at parties in Greece. All this in comparison to other countries other wealthier than our and other not.
Suppose that we should all put the weight into finding ways to reduse costs and thus create events that will not hurt our pockets. The rest for me is of non importance. I would like to hear some ideas from the people... |

in most of your posts you complain that people choose parties judging from who is organising them. your above post actually says that we should look at who is the organiser and then decide whether to go or not. make up your mind please...
as for the topic, i agree with bms. but this is something the promoters need to think about (ways to reduce the cost). although, i believe that's something they are already doing, that's why most of our parties lack quality........ .
Respect is earned, not demanded...

i have read ENOUGH about the promoters,what about the real "party ppl" ???
promoters should be serving (dont get stuck to the word) us not the other way round

There is this state organisation called DEPAP, whoever wants to organise an event of any kind may go there and these people / organisation are responsible to help out and find public owened facilities (from theatre to stadium as long as it belongs to the state and not private sector ) and rent it out for them, i think they also help even further... One good way to minimize the cost of a party is definately to reduse the payable amount to the club owners who usually have crazy demands.
I don t know if what i m saying here is known to the public or if party organizers have tried this option ever, but i am sure it will definately cost less and if you do it you ll have the blessings of the mayor..
