Have yet to experience anything Psychedelic while listening to Psytrance.

Well, isn't the purpose of Psychedelic trance to get you into some sort of 'Trance' where you're supposed to experience Psychedelic things and such?
For me, I have never noticed anything Psychedelic from listening to this or other music.
So in my opinion music never gets 'Psychedelic' really never gets.
The only time I do experience strange things is when I'm in the train for example, and I'm on the verge of falling asleep.
Then usually sounds I hear on my Ipod gets mixed up with dreams and stuff.
I don't know how it is for you guys, but for me the word 'Psychedelic' means cool and freaky sounds and nothing 'Psychedelic'!
I wonder if people have actually the same thought about this as I do, or do you have different opinions?

psytrance + lsd etc will do that . and pot to a lesser extent .

Well I thought Psytrance was supposed to do what Lsd does, but without the Lsd.
Anyways with Lsd I still haven't experienced anything groundbreaking either. |

yes .. i read on the equipment section too , I`d put that down to weak drops .. or maby first few times it just dont happen .. even i cudnt feel too much first couple times ... ur life changing trip will happen  .. lol .. dont underestimate it just yet !

Well to experience trance you need to have 4 elements
01. Music - Music that inspires your psychedelic side of mind.
02. Nature - Beautiful nature surrounding you with high energy filling you up with freedom.
03. People who love the same music at that moment - people who are there only for the music and it's voyage - no playboys or super heroes or ego driven people or these will definately effect your voyage
04. LSD/Mushrooms or any other psychedelic substance which will definatley take you on ride which you will never forget - effecting your conciousness into seeing the reality around you thus boosting your life into a new reality! THE REAL WORLD WHICH IS AROUND YOU.
If any of these elements are missing it simply does not work the same...Now if you are a person who loves music a lot and you are ready to go into it and let yourself go and be free from all ego at that moment then it will definatley take you there...If you are a person who cannot feel the music which you are listening to then change man cause it will not effect you for sure! A psychedelic experience can also be through chillout and through other genres of music as long as it inspires you and the people around you at that moment! There you become one dancing together in a world were Ego has no control on you! Therefore feeling like heaven and dancing till the music stops...
Hope this helps to understand it's just my way of seeing things after some years of experience...

Go for a long jog in the forest or ?? while listening to psy....it helps puts you in a special place...matching your steps to the beat syncs your heart rhythm to your brain waves....powerful stuff. |

first time I did acid I spent an incredible night with one of the greatest girls I ever met who happens to live 9 hours away from me,stairing at the full-moon and clouds at a psytrance festival,anyways acid definitly changed my life,made me a nicer,happier person and I quit my job right after and got a better one haha 
it makes you just appreciate life more,atleast it did to me.
only thing about acid is it's so nice that so much people will never stop doing it all the time and fuck thereselfs up real big,so it's either live in you're fantasy world and end up all dirty and shit but happy inside or live the real world and be the ''normal'' everyday person.
i choose everyday person.
oh back to the subject,i'v experienced psychedelic at party's for sure,but never sober. SPLINTER |

1. skepticism might just be stopping you from feeling what some of us may or may not feel, a lovely world of psychedelia out there!
2. those drops you did weren't either that great really. or the circumstances dint quite encourage anything groundbreaking, the background, whom youre with & youre mindset everything matters when youre on lsd...
