One tip is not to "push" or try to "force" the feelings/experiences to accure. Let it take time and be VERY openminded... The human psyche it´s a very complexed thing and should not be "played" with to much without knowing what you are doing... Bad things can happen!
Learn the basics of it and then go youre own way... don´t listen to much on other ppl if you are very easily affected by this. You need to find youre own way. Our minds maybe work the same in a "lower grade" but then it starts to change the higher up you get...
I like to call it "locked doors" that you have in your mind that need to be opened to get to an higher knowledge of yourself and things around you. Wich way to achive this or wich "doors" that will be opened is up to you and youre psyche...
I don´t know if this is right or wrong... but this is how it works for me, althou this is only some of my thoughts about it

Do you listen to oldschool Psy?
Because that music (as well as classic Acid Trance) can still cause me to have time slips, even when sober.
Most "full on" is extremely close to UK Hardtrance, which is anything but psychedelic. |

so you DON'T need drugs if one is sensitive enough or willing to practice on one's sensitivity.
one can achieve similar effects through meditation techniques, dancing, fasting etc. possibly combined with visual and/or audio stimulae.
and the answer to the original question: yes, i have had psychedelic moments with "just" listening to music.

sure_smoke_a_lot said it perfectly. once you've understood the language you dont really need drugs to experience psychedelic states.
Psychedelic states doesnt necessarily have to mean obe's or extraordinary feelings induced by the music. It could just be a state of mind, lucid and tranceparent. You could compare it to some muddy water kept in a glass for a long time. The mud settles after a period of time to give you clean water on top thats what psychedelic is to me. clears my head without the use of any substances!

The psychedelic experience comes with dancing..it isn't necessarily visual it's just the feeling of it all..

it's not psychedelic because they say so, only if you feel so..
try some trance from finland......it like automatically gives me this freaky grin when i eat acid
