Shit does float, doesn't it?

One thing ppl- we do not do dirty laundry here- it will never end and none of us has the tools to decide who's right or wrong, every one can write what he wants, and so pretty fast things turn into insults and just plain ugliness with no point to it.

So please stop it and keep it private- no more public accusations around here. It's pointless. Thank you.

As for the topic, music released by Greek labels.
Here are some thoughts:

ZMA: I've been liking the direction the music takes lately- kind of psychedelic progressive. A Step Beyond was a real favorite with me. Haven't heard the new one yet.

Candyflip: Also very solid, the Candy compilation was a real joy. And Wizzy Noise are Wizzy Noise.

Devic Craft: Heard only one release- too wierd for me and too crazy for my old tired brain, but as Alex said, you gotta support people doing their own thing with honesty and love.

Starsound: I really liked the first compilations, last 3 releases didn't do it to me at all, and the musical line seems a bit lost to me.

Loopsnoo: Heard only 2 releases (thanx Yuli, I'll try to return them next time) and was left with a very good impression as well.

Acidance: It can't all be fluffy, eh? They do what they do and they probably do it well. It's just too intense for me, old battered brain and so forth... I'm yet to find the right mood to try and listen to Ritual Dance... I've been relly tryin'.

All and all I think that I can sumrise and say that I like the musical direction represented by Greek labels- psychedelic progressive, and some edgy full on crazyness on the top.

opening up a label is easy....so many labels can emerge...

operating a label is another thing....

and operating professionally (!!) is yet another thing...

I guess TIME is the best evaluator of all...

....yes triplex may be right partly but what he says applies in general to quite a few psychedelic trance labels worldwide and not only to Greece....

helloz..

i just wanted to emphasize on the "money" subject...

as a new artist i understand completely the fact that most labels now have difficulties in paying lots of money to the artists. i will understand this completely even if one day i become an "old" artist..

BUT... no matter if you are in Greece or in the North Pole, no matter if you are a trance label or the milkman, when you make a deal, you make a deal! if you have agreed on 3000 then you HAVE to pay 3000. if you have agreed 1 euro then 1 euro it is. doesn't matter if the artists ask for lots or no money at all... if you agree, it's not the artists fault that something happened wrong. this is the proffesionalism you speak about... estimating the outcome of a business..

now, i don't want to be misunderstood. i don't have any complaints as an artist from any Greek label. since now, i have cooperated with Candyflip and Loopsnoo recs and both of them were totally professionals in this matter..

it's just something all labels HAVE to do

ps. i agree with mr Casper in his problem... (btw the Chinese Wood track is a beauty )           in search for an answer...
