hi Herc,

if you have something to tell Micky then please go ahead and do it yourself...no need to involve me in your old business matters.....

and btw let's clear out something :

1)...I was not expecting you dig up the past and talk about your relationship with artists neither am I interested in your accounting books..

2)..I was not addressing something particular to ZMA or to anyone personally for the matter...I just wanted to see how the other Greek labels would respond to the accusations of not paying their artists + having a bad reputation abroad...

speaking of bad reputation....

What to you have to say about licensing unsigned tracks to other labels WITHOUT the consent of the artists and NOT paying the artists even the 50-50% of the licensing payment? ..Have you ever done this??....I do not say you did or making an accusation, I am just curious....

I never opened any Wizzy Noise issue..you did...you say you are bored but you seem frustrated and troubled..anyway this is your business not mine...so I leave it alone

and we are not talking about the whole system, we are talking about the Greek labels here....nothing greater & nothing deeper...

I just made a simple question to you..and you preferred not to answer...ok I can take it..no problemo..

have fun 2 !!

Hi!

We've had a bad experience too with Greek label ZMA. A few weeks ago Hercules sent us a message regarding a release on Monarchie 3. We replied and sent a track a few days later.

Ever since he has not even bothered returning our emails. If he didn't like the track - well how many seconds does it take to tell us? With his silence we must assume that he never intended to release our stuff, but just wanted some new tracks for his case.

With that policy, we cannot recommend this label to anyone.

Peace out,

Casper & Mikkel, Frogacult

Come on Frogacult you are not serious now.

I receive new stuff almost everyday and sometimes i send feedback after even a month or more.

Label managers are very bussy all the time so you cannot blame them about something like this.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

My friend Frogacult,
i dont choose side here, but i have to say that i have send trax to labels in england and they have been released without sighning it and without giving me advance for it!!!! I think thats the most terrible thing that can happend to a artist.
But giving out trax to labels its good for promoting urself for future bussines. In the beginning of this kind of bussines u have to be like a child and be patient. Besides Herc told me one week ago that he realy liked ur trax..............

Hola!

It does not take more than 30 seconds to hit "reply" on an email - and that's just common decency...

Jason: Sorry to hear about your bad experiences, hope they didn't get away with their stealing!

Detox: if you specifically ask for something, get it and are asked to reply - wouldn't you do just that? And whould you ignore every attempt made to make contact afterwards? It's a matter of professionalism. Every other label we've worked with have been able to accomodate this, so why shouldn't we expect this kind of courtesy here?

Anyway, this is between Herc and us - so Herc, please give us a call, mail or whatever and we'll sort this..

The problem is to find time to listen to the music not to find 30 seconds to send the e-mail.

Anyway Herc e-mail the guys please           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Hi Frogacult,

it is common that sometimes labels take their time to respond back..this is not something to accuse them...as Jason mentions there are other much more serious things that someone can accuse a label for...

E.g. it is unthinkable to sell unsigned tracks that you have received as demos to other labels without informing the artists and not even paying them..what can you say about that???????????

sometimes things go really slow
sorry but nowdays after the severe problems with our distributor there is no time listening and even replying to people
the existance of the label is the first priority.

btw the cd was in the office 2 weeks ago

As said before, im not taking any side here but frogacult seriously, dont u think a label has better things to do but to reply as soon as they get the cd?... im pretty sure the cd u sent was packed with goodies but still... Allthou i do believe that complete honesty from labels is important... I always say exact what a feel about the demos i get...

If someone was to send a CD un-encouraged to a label, one can not expect a fast respond - I'll totally agree on that.

But I'll stand my ground on requesting an answer, when asking if the CD that the artist WAS encouraged to send, did in fact make it's destination. This is a courtesy I take for granted. If the label is too busy to listen to the CD right away - well, fine by me. Just reply "yes, we got the CD, busy, mail later". Is this too much to ask? As I see it, it's a matter of respect.

We've had incidents in the past with people talking a lot of bull just to get new trax, and since we're no mindreaders we haven't got a clue what's going on unless we are told. Communication is the keyword here.

To end the story, I'm glad to say that we've now gotten our answer from ZMA and we're currently working on our differencies - hopefully it'll all work out for the best of all parties...

Peace,

Casper / Frogacult.
