at this time djs are doc,kulu,timxtreme,absolutzero,tikis,stratos,pasp these guys heve mixing skills,but i am also dj with no skills 
only the dirty one's will survive |

We all know what a dj means but i am not sure that the people that claim that are djs know exactly what a dj is...
If everybody that can mix one out of ten tracks in his bedroom using tracktor on his laptop or a couple of cdj's borrowed from a friend is a dj then ok half the people of this forum are djs...
Just like Atmos once said 'I am not a Juke Box,i am a DJ'.

I believe that the most users there are not just a listeners or dancers, and they have something to do with this music. either as a dj either as an act either as a person who interests to be something...

Dj is a dj. Whether he plays with a labtop or he plays at home or anything like that, is his choice and there is nothing to do with the explanation of "What is dj"...
Now our choice is to judge and choose, whether we like what we see, listen and expirience and decide if we wanna listen to the specific act or not....
Greek djs I saw and liked a lot for the selection and mixing skills is DOC and KULU. • Noize Conspiracy Records •

what a labtop has to do with this,
if a guy has 2 tape players is a dj??or you can play with the radio,you but safari and super fm and you make o programm

A DJ is a person that has the ability to entertain a crowd into a party,this means he has the appropriate music to do so,he has the ability to choose the right music for the right moment,he has the ability to MIX his music and this is very critical since most people who consider themself as a DJ cannot even beatmatch while real DJ's can even play with 3 cdj's and do crazy things that will amaze the crowd instead of creating them a headache.
Also many other things distinguish a DJ from a wannabee Disc Jockey such as appearence and perfomance on decks.If you are looking for some serious DJ's then i suggest you watch out Dimitri Nakov,Ari Linker,Dino Psaras and Boris Blenn.As from the few Greek dj's that we have i suggest to watch out for Nikos Liquid Love and Kostas Spiral.
Now about people who claim that are DJ's and play music with laptop's and mp3's then sorry guys but you are good only for playing music at your house.
