People In Greece What Kind of Psychedelic music u like most? maybe im not right but i thing that in psychedelic music there are three types. goa-psychedelic-israel.
Goa with mysterious and burning mind sounds like parasense-fungus-penta
Psychedelic trance like acts from spirit zone recs.
and Israels psychedelic Trance (melody) like astral-yahel-astrix(at most songs)-infected mushroom.

I have the right opinion for the music or not?

I like most goa-trance because effects better in my brain. ur people?

Not again!! Hey narcosis I understand you man!The only thing I have to tell you is that goa trance does not exist anymore.Since 10 years perhaps...Parasense etc have nothing to do with goa,all the nowdays psy-trance in gen has nothing to do with goa..           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

Goa trance as a genre may not excist anymore but there are surely many goa elements in today's psychedelic trance and I agree with Narcosis in this one especially in harder psychedelic trance which is the acid trend(!) nowadays. Take Goa the place for instance where this genre is dominant if I'm not mistaken.

Narcosis I find your categorization correct in a way although you cannot say most of harder tracks are goa, I'd say the opposite. To make goa music you have to have melodies, at least minimal ones. I also liked goa trance and its following currents(e.g. hard psychedelic trance from England) and nowadays I am mostly into harder melodic stuff, i.e. new hard psychedelic trance with goa elements in it.

Yes but I have to remind you that goa has got a lot of tribal/ethinc elements..And it was deep very deep!A magic trip!I can't see something tripy and tribal in that style Just dry acid!Find the new album of Secret Vibes - Sylva. That's reminds me a lot goa music!           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

It is true. Although the trademark for me was high frequencies and melodies drowning you and a tribal sense to keep you going. I think this is the case also sometimes today it is just that the music in one of its sub-genres has become harder and maybe in some years some fellows will be reminiscent and nostalgic about this also .

I thought goa music was music coming from Astral Projection,Power Source,Etnica,Transwave and Sandman.

What do Penta,Parasense and Fungus Funk have to do with this music?

The russian guys have a style of their own and for sure nothing to do with the music of the early days.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I personally was referring to harder psychedelic trance in general ranging from 3D Vision and Timecode through Discovalley to Parvati including also the Russians just to name some. I think that artists releasing harder stuff are more or less influenced in one way or another from the forefathers of nowadays psychedelic trance. This music has ofcourse changed a lot and you can notice that in all of its today's sub-categories but you can also notice the influence of goa trance.

My friend,
i mentioned that you are confused (not confusing!) becouse parasense, penta and fungus funk have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with goa music. As people mentioned above, goa has melodies and tribal elements...the artists you mentioned play dark music, fast bpm's , strong basslines and weird sounds on top of them...so calling this style goa, is a mistake.

Now israel produces a loooot of trance today and its not correct to categorise all of them in the same "melody" style...israeli trance may differ from Astrix to Psychotic Micro, from Skazi to Lish and from Exaile to Visual Paradox.

the categorization from narcosis has a point.
the russian guys have the element of surprize in their music just like the goa producers had.you never know what to expect when you listen to one of their tracks and that is good,in my opinion.also,in the recent years , the man who sets the standards of what we call "goa trance style" are determined from goa gil and goa gil's last mixed comp. was based on that kind of music.so I think that there is a connection of the producers above and goa trance.
now,as far as eurotrance definition I will disagree, eurotrance is not just spirit zone.eurotrance is also transient,spiral,g+,ZMA...
now as far as israel is concerned when you hear that the tade project comes from israel what comes into your mind instanly?strong basslines and powerful melodies.Am I right?I know that there are many things come from Israel nowadays but I prefer to consider the chemical crew as the bastard spawns of talamasca(in the good sense,if there is any which I think there is but its just my opinion:)) than artists who grew at the tel aviv raves with barkan and astral.
so I give a thumbs up to narcosis and my preferense is international PSYCHEDELIC music and producers without place of origin with only one condition:2 b psychedelic...
cheers

ps.it maybe born in india but it grew in england...

Goa Trance changes from the past to the future. Changes his style like all types ofmusic. But it stills to be goa, because it has his own personality.

Music in greece begun as goa trance in athens.Read an old flyer party till 96 goa trance and from then the word psychedelic is more comercial. But I believe
that we still have the goa style maybe not in greece very popular but is litle different then psychedeli.Psychedelic I think is more aggresive then goa that we could hear more melodies but not like astrix, maybe like Artax the new blood of goa style.Goa is more then a root word for the scene because it begun from goa India, techno and drum n bass mixed to create goa trance in 92.
