So?
It's not gonna be a trance party anyway. It will be some comercial Cost to Cost crap party with absolutely no trance spirit, no trancers, no trance decoration, but instad lots of macho atitude, sleeveless shirt club goers from NJ hoping to hook up and constantly hitting on girls... with happen to be GMS music playing on a backround.
Really, really yuky.

see, that is just one way of looking at it. the way i choose to see it is they are being kind enough to draw away all the undesirables so we can enjoy ourselves at TDC to the fullest extent.

So why doesn't TDC throw a GMS party? I've never seen them before.  Is it too expensive?

i think coast II coast should get more respect on the hard work they invest, for bringing us world wide psychedelic acts.
and its got nothing to do with the fact u guys dont like to party @ avalon NY/LA. coast II coast got a big stamp in US Psychedelic scene and its a FACT!.
and the way i see it.. its - holy mission.

It's got everything to do with Avalon and the crowd there. We have no beef with coast II coast, but with the venues they choose to bring their acts to. When you think about being in Avalon on the balcony and people pushing & shoving you against the railing, or dancing downstairs and having idiots pour drinks on you from above, or having creeps come over to your female friends and grab thier ass and boobs, it makes it a little hard to have fun. Don't you think? So spare me the "holy mission" clause.

Do GMS still make psychedelic music? What I heard from them in the last couple of years did not del my psyche at all. Sounds like they are just repeating what seemed to work at a certain point in time.
I have absolutely nothing against Coast II Coast. If they believe in what they're doing then I think they should keep doing it and I wish them all the best.
It comes down to each of our own taste and preferences. So if you don't want to go to the party because Avalon sucks or because GMS has become boring arena-rock-trance, or whatever reason, just don't go. If you really want to see GMS and think you can hear them properly and enjoy at Avalon, have fun. |

gms is under contract and cannot perform for anyone else but C2C in the US. same goes for infected and astrix at this point in time.

I totally understand you on that, i used to live in america when i was younger and i was in the rave scene, back then there was hardly psytrance scene or even heard of... here in europe psytrance is huge and we have big forest partys and are excelente with everything but, what you mentioned above... ill tell ya ive seen GMS 5 times and my god its a blaster , just can´t imagine it playing at night, Its normaly a morning live act... But anyway enjoy it d i saw the album presentation here in portugal at freedom festival ... dont regret it 1 bit |

Coast II Coast don't know psy trance .they are not a psy trance organization. Coast II Coast Entertainment is a booking agency for all artist from 50 cent to BARBARA WALTERS .
for psy trance party you need psy trance organization !!!
the only thing that Coast II Coast did to psy trance is make the big manes artist expensive and unavailable to real psy trance underground

We understand that many of you do not like Avalon, and some of you may not like us because we manage the talent we put at Avalon. However, it's important for you to understand the big picture. The acts that we represent need to go in a venue that holds minimum of 1500 ppl. Why? The fee for the act, flights, hotels, ground transport, etc... it all adds up. If anyone would like to suggest another venue, we are open to recommendations. We are NOT exclusive with Avalon, but they make the events happen. There is no way that we could bring the acts to NY without a big venue to pay their expenses. Coast II Coast Presents does not try to compete with the other trance parties, we simply showcase our talent in a club environment and do our best to show people a good time. We respect your opinions, and would love to hear your suggestions.

thats bullshit man - your acts dont NEED 1500 people... you need 1500 people to make big $$. why dont u tell it like it is instead of sugar coating us with this marketing bullshit?
were we born yesterday? dont think so... last time GMS was in NYC for a real trance party was in may 2003 and it was sure not 1500 and they managed to do fine and rock the place.. the previous time was the same story in june 2002.. so cut the crap.... youre all about money and not about trance. if you were, then your contracts wouldnt be so binding and restricting so that other promoters could bring your so called 1500 people acts to better venues and REAL trance parties, but you cant let that happen can you???
