fullon is just a period like we had goatrance <2000 and psychedelic trance between 2000 - 2002 as mainstream trance... today is fullon most present but that doesn't mean fullon is getting more commercial... the concept goa is getting more commercial and no I don't mind |

clearly another person who doesnt get the difference between psychedelic music and full-on.
the scene is supposed to be psychedelic. full on is not psychedelic. it attacts non psychedelic people. it changes the scene to something non-psychedelic. i like psychdedelic. i dont want it to change. you like full on, you obviously dont like psychedelic music that much. every1 is different. but they are different styles of music. the one is psychedelic, the other isnt in my opinion. |

well imo real psychedelic trance is umm.. psychedelic
some full on qualifies as psychedelic.. some progressive qualifies as psychedelic.. and so..

Not neccesarily mate.
The fact taht someone's music appeals to a lot of people doesn't say that they make it for money and not for love.
You assume things on ppl you don't know- that's not nice, I think.
Also I don't understand why you keep telling ppl that the music they consider psychedelic is not so. Have you considered that it can also be a matter of taste and not some universal truth?
Better explain why you consider some music psychedelic and what it does to you, no?

wether something is "psychedelic" or not is actually NOT a matter of taste. its a matter of being psychedelic or not. its like saying britney spears is psychdedelic , because your taste says it is. thats just not a very smart statement to be honest.
full on (most of it) its not truely psychedelic. it is "dumbed-down" psytrance so that more people can enjoy it. but it is not truely psychedelic. if youve been in the scene for more than a few years you will not be arguing with me about this. anyone who actually knows anything about psychedelic music knows that skazi, 1200 mics, psychotic micro and all that stuff might be entertaining music to some,(please raise your glowsticks if this is you) but it is most definitly not psychedelic trance.

And what about Frequency surfer?
He's 100% full on & 100% psychedelic in my opinion.

i agree. its not "typical" full on though. its original and it is focused on being psychdelic. compare it to skazi for instance. waaaay more effort and creativity put in. its good, well produced music. so i can appreciate it. |
