@frisbeehead: according to your reasoning you get a 16/th by dividing a bar by four.

pretty unfriendly last sentence i read in your message.

lets agree to disagree and stay each on our own 'planet'

I thought your post was unfriendly to, btw. but let's not make a big deal out of it.

it's a beat, not a bar, so that was a mistake - probably due to writing fast.

simple math:

a beat contains four 1/16 spaces, thus 4x4=16=1bar

if you pick your bpm, short for "beats per minute", you'll be working with a minute as a unit, so it's time, a minute is 60 seconds, thus the math goes like I said previously:

60/your bpm
then this number is a beat, for 1/16 you divide it by 4
so despite the typo, the logic was correct.

I'm not here to start fights with anyone, btw. Cheers

i didnt read all the stuff before.

it's just a saw wave bass. you can do it with like every synth. id suggest sylenth.
just make sure that the click from the bass and the kick do well together. compressor attack is what you have to tweak.
then low cut at 50 hz and tada you are done.

i did this one that i found it to be similar to the one from TS.

begin with 22% swing..
a basic pitched saw. eq to remove unwanted mid/low freqs around 500hz to provide enough squelch and crispiness, fast compression to add attack and lastly a degrader to give it that extra punch on the attack and to add some harmonics.

also some mild fake sidechain with LFO TOOL and the proper kick to fit both together.
