Existence Festival:slightly chilled line-up, NYE, Barcelona, Spain

Let's say it also depends on the lasting of the event, and how the line-up is balanced on the main-floor. At Existence, the Chill-Out looked like a great alternative to the israeli full-on armada on the main-floor, and was a great way to discover "minimal and/or proggy" deejayz (like Zeon or Nuno in example) with the suprise effect over the top of being able to shake one's hips on such vibrations. There were some prog set and live-acts on the mainfloor, yes, but like a drop of water in the sea of full on sounds.
Now, with a shorter event, and more balanced line-up between psytrance different influences, a Chill Out that would be suggesting "proper" chilled beatz would look more relevant to me. And here, I'm with Masta Marga too, the night and the day require different colours.
I've had the chance to play once a 6 hours outdoor set, between 3.30 and 9.30 am, hence night + dawn + warming sunrise, and it was great to go from industrial/elektro sounds fading to more melodic stuff at dawn and boost things up with reggae and phunk when the sun was warming the place and people taking the warm clothes off.

I liked the way the chillout was at Existence. The music was more upbeat than I thought in advance, but I seriously liked it, and Im glad it was not only ambient background. I spend quite a lot of hours in the chillout the first night and morning and I really enjoyd every second of it.

Next year we're not gonna have "chillout" not with this name anyway............ but yes we'll have "second stage",...alternative stage,.....like this there will be no mistakes sorry for the 1º name, because that never was the idea,...to have a sleeping chillout! and for me, a lot of times the regular "chillout" is too boring to have it 24h non stop...... BUT yes an alternative stage, to the "israely main floor",hehehe......well,....the point is to have the most diferent music/styles between 50% about the normal concept of what i can call a psytrance festival......
Justin made a really good job for me on this stage,....and for sure we will repeat the concept again. 
I think we have many many years with the same concept about "chillout stage",......and main floor stage (in this one is very dificult to change it),....but there are so many kinds of music styles in the "chillout" is time to put all them toghether and give to all the most variety on this stage with a logical construction, concept of course....to listen seating, and to listen and dancing.
So like this my words are congratulations to Justin for this line up construction-concept,.....this was always the idea...i´m realy glad that you did it.
