I'm late to this thread, but Ektoplazm is the bomb.
I believe strongly in free music. Honestly, Ektoplazm is one of the top reasons I'm proud to be Canadian, and for that matter, a part of this music scene.
The quality of their releases are rivaled by very few portals/netlabels dedicated to free music - in any genre, let alone psychedelic EDM.
Show Ektoplazm some love if you haven't.

but does anyone think that it may lead to djs playin the same albums at parties? i know i get most of my stuff from ekto...... |

I don't think so. Most DJ's only play illegally downloaded music they share with each other, not free music that everyone can get legally!

I put all my Ekto 'darkpsy' releases in a Live project, arranged as Thrashers, Glitchers, Oozers, and Zolodic, and just the Thrashers channel has more than 200 tracks.
I do have a few cds ripped in there, to be fair, but more than 90 percent are Ekto.
And damn if it aint a MOUNTAIN of warping and leveling to do....

The album is really good.However wouldnt say it is the best.
For me it is still the Ekoplex's release that music was really different and fresh.
Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons. |
