Willy stated that it’s a fact that amongst humans the strongest survive. It’s not a fact; actually it’s a theory that is regarded as “nonsense” amongst most sociologists. HOW does this RELATE to our TOPIC:
It’s a question of values; whether one should help a helpless population in Pakistan. We as human species can MAKE a difference; we can change our reality and the reality of others. This form of intervention occurs on a regular basis; when a mentally handicapped human being isn’t just left to die for instance, or when technology allows our agricultural production to be increased by several hundred percent.
If you believe that one should remain passive and let the “strongest survive” in Pakistan, you believe in social Darwinism and Malthusianism (Thomas Malthus- pre- sociologist from the 18 century, that argued (amongst other things) that one should not try to intervene when disaster strikes, because they help to keep the population growth at a minimum). Most sociologist today regard these theories as being “nonsense”, nonetheless it’s your right to believe in these theories.
Willy it’s your right to think that my opinions are in contrast with the laws of nature! However, most of the SCIENTIFIC world disagrees. Why is that important? It’s important because it shows that your opinions are least not the DEFINITIVE truth, as you yourself state.

No Willy, I don’t imagine that there is a correlation between social Darwinism (the strongest WINS as you SAID, in regards to humans) and Nazism, it’s a fact. You may not be interested in science, philosophy or history; you may think you have all the answers inside your head. I however, study, in-order to accumulate knowledge. So I’ll be able to answer people like you, with arguments and not just my own subjective opinions.

What happends then with natural selection in nature? When humans can change this and that, it will shurly unbalance natures fine weight-scale. We humans can help people from a nature desaster area, because of, yes, capetalism.
We can even let a baby with leathal illnesses like "donno at the moment", downs-syndrom, no legs ect. live. While in nature, these souls would have died of natural causes. We humans are acctually unbalancing natures natural balance of natural selection. But as Green says, we are natures animals as well as apes, giraffes ect. But since we got this brain, conciusness ect. We have a choice, we can use our "special powers" to help others. We can even prevent animals from extinction, while nature says they shall be extinct. But we can also kill a living race of Panda's. While nature says, "no, it's not ready to be extinct yet. But oh. We have the power to do what we want. We are no longer a natural part of mother natures plan. Well we are, but we have a foot outside it's natural cource. .. My god. We clone, soon we will prevent people from dying at all. We create our own desteny. .. Modern humans have lived less then a millisecond of our plantes living age. And just see how much damage we all ready have caused. A millisecond, and we'r allready out of natures natural cource/system. What when we have lived 1 minute of natures time? What then? Will it be better, worse? Will the world be a massive industri planet aka. "the Matrix"? I dont know, but I'm shure, that if we have more people thinking like Green Channel, and less people thinking like "me" (cant use anyone else as an example). The world will turn out to be a better place.
But yet again. All humans are a desise to our earth. ..  .. But we could also become (one day) natures super cool, "side kick" !
On the topic again.. Yes, I wouldnt mind a tripple album filled with good and bad music to aid the people. The winter is comming, and they lack tents ect. So yes, I would like to give a helping hand. But I would also love to buy a cheap 3x album .. You see, I'm a ego, and a huminitarien person. I'm balance, i'm ying-yang. I'm a humanbeeing. Who belives in the nature, and it's natural powers.
Faith? God? Higher beeings controling us? Life after death? .. No, i'm not a beliver. But I belive in good. And that we can use our good, to make this a better place.
I hope you who read this understands my thoughts. I'm not a pro writer, and I'm at work, so I cant realy write a perfect post. But yeah... Have a nice day, enjoy life. One day, it's over.

Those 'arguments' were also opinions once, but from other people. Does that make them so much better than your own opinions? Or someone else's opinions for that matter? I know I'm risking offtopic again, and maybe even deletion, but I still wanted to say this. And remember this: Everything you learn is not necessarily true...

i've never said what is right, human or world is fair, the only thing isn't right is to connect psytrance to such global events to release some fluffy CD.

I've never said that war or more damage should come so we can see who is strongest.
Nature rule, strongest survive. It is not Darwin, Nazism or whatsoever. It is reality. You can help as i already said donate money but all fucking argue here is about connection between events in Pakistan and psytrance, when Dragongirl turned it into social conflict while herself living in fucking rich country which not long ago was rapping blacks and stole their national resources. Dunno if it's south africa or uk but both are ugly places with ugly history towards weak or so called "weak"

Social status which i was reffering to by strongest has nothing to do with you grandfather and concentration camps my family been to as well. If man is poor it doesn't mean i should give him money just because he is poor. From my point of view in some cases it will damage more by giving money to poor than don't.
My point was that after war many European countries became peacefull and social wealthy, why ? Because war caused alot of damage and Europe united and human united. For Pakistanis now it can be a push, it doesn't mean we shouldn't help them at all but they are strong to deal with it alone and noone should show them as victims near US as Dragongirl state.

So true.  . "People" have always´divided them-self's into groups, all through the last 10.000 years:
Close-family > clan-family> Town or lord> in some countries (local-State)> Country or nationality> Race > human-beings

It should be:

Let's them think they are different, even now they divided into groups NEW UBER PROGRESSIVE HUMANITARIAN AND OLD 18th CENTURY(Social Darwinism). They can't understand that world will remain the same because resonance of classes and groups is the main progress factor. |
