from my experience:
Since i started to listen to Psytrance, my ego became bigger - i thought this was the BEST musical style there ever existed. it opened my mind to all the varieties of sonorities that exist in this culture.but at a certain point i totally refused other musical styles that weren´t played on parties.
thank god, i opened my eyes and started to enjoy everything that gives me pleasure - even the most popular music.
but each to their own place

Its nothing more than a matter of choice. There is absolutely no need to put down psytrance in anyway. Each to his own. Respect

Believing that YOUR opinion is the ONLY RIGHT opinion makes you narrow minded.
Its a beautiful thing that we each have the ability to decide for ourselves what we, each of us individually, enjoy, WITHOUT worrying what anyone else thinks, whatsoever!!
You can't expect respect when you give none, likewise you can't expect everyone to think YOU are right when you think everyone else is wrong. You have a right to your opinions so long as you return the favor and allow everyone else their own.

suprisingly ever since i started listening to psytrance i am really ever interested in listening only to the psytrance....
for quite many years i felt as tho my favourite tracks of other genres still managed to remain my favoutire tracks from other genres in other words i didnt seem to enjoy the newer rock/alternative tracks...much rather fancied the older ones i used to like at one point in time.....
i found that experiance quite suprising.....
well even now i dont mind listening to other music once in a way but if its my choice its psytrance all the way...and in the years i have managed to like it..i have fortunately/unfortunately converted most of my friends into liking this genre so there isnt too much pressure from their side to change the genre of music when we get together or are gaming etc....
but i can understand lola's sentiments completely....
