damn right gosse,
shame on mr. spook!!!
for bringing this bad carma over us,...but i hope things can be fixed and artists will be payed...the only way to survive is to do it with heart guys , NEVER FORGET !!!!
and paying infront should be the way to go, i know some labels do it including Evil Knivel...
cheers for them..i hope the best for all of us!!!

about a year ago he asked me for two of my tracks...He gave me a contract and all...really un-professional contract if you ask me...anyways i sold him my two tracks...wich stated i would get the money 3 months after release...The cd got released in november 2006 if im correct and since then he has given me 1/4 of my cash after I pushed him many times ( 20 emails of bitching hehe) he finnaly gave me some...still missing that 3/4 tho...and now he doesn't even reply to my emails...
I don't know but people who live in there basement and run a label alone....they are the cool ones right ?

they are cool cos the basement doesnt get very hot in the summer!
shame on those labels.. i had some problems from a label that didnt pay me and he had the nerve to ask me after 9 months another track for the second part of the compilation!
he said he didnt make the money to pay us artists but he definately made a nice studio... u get the pic!

This is only proof that spook is not getting rich off your guys backs otherwise he be living in luxury condo with label team doing all the work.
Shawnodese, You should sue him for all he worth but maybe bad investment for your 40 euro!
You guys are all too trusting, but I guess when you don't get cash up front you must be thinking in the back of your mind that you may not get any at all. |

He got one track of mine for a compilation as well, that was like 6 months ago.....let's see how it turns.
I hope for a good turn, but, as I read this, I might get dissapointed I believe. I don't mind it, I will just put it my upcoming album

What I wonder about is how come I see this label name ALL OVER the promotional section thread and the following have yet to happen... :
1) The dear Dr who promotes so well his label / distribution all over the forum has yet to reply
2) how come SO MANY of you artists out there did not notice the DOGGYNESS of this label ??
Was cosmophillia not enough of a case study for our scene or most artists / labels involved in this matter are so new that wouldn't have know about this situation ?
To me this seems very peculiar and confusing...
I shell be waiting for this Spook answer... if it shell apear
