I have to correct my opinion....
sorry handa this time more ontopic...

are tracknames realy important? no, important is just what the crowd is thinking. and if the people on the parties be peacefully with eachother there is no problem in my opinion.

it would be also possible that this tracknames are just jokes. and yes offcourse a rebellion: this is the answer from some undergroundproducers on a music-style which keeps the plur-sign in the air, but without any plur-background sometimes. so they think: hi, if names are just no more than names, we make our jokes with that scene....
maybe, maybe not.

and satanists want lyrics!

the other possibility is that some people want the be "dark" on vogue and they want to show off everyone how evil they are....
mabye maybe not...

we have to aks them:

ARE YOU HERE ?

WHY U CALL UR TRACKS LIKE THIS ?

(you can show you, we dont bite you)

waiting for replies....

isn t psychedelic music based on feelings and not words?i always thought that s the reason no lyrics are involved in our scene!some artist have deep and dark feelings(commonly human)and when they think dark they think EVIL and what s the first word come to ones mind when he thinks EVIL.........???
Satan of course!!
those people through darkness they found light in their path for life and nobody can say this is wrong or somekind of bullshit that they don t belong to our scene!!
keep it real people, love your fellow human whatever his believes are or you are the one who s goin straigh to Heeeell

Honestly, WHO GIVES A FUCK !!!!!!!!!!!

A track name is just a track name, sometimes is harder to find a track name then actually make the track.

sorry but i ve got to laugh at all this debat. for one thing in the end of the 1600 s when the christians (real nice bunch of people!) decided that their god was the only one to be worshipped, banned the practise of pagan cult and witch craft. it is interesting to know that at the time there was a god called pan, who had goats feet and smelled strongly. he was a god of nature and harvest etc... the christians demonised him making his image that of satans (goats feet , tail, etc).
the pentagram: a symbol representing the 5 elements: nothing evil in this whatsoever before the christians decided it was!
what i m saying is this: the symbols that are seen as evil and satanic nowadays are only this because of the christians' will to screw up any other belief but their own and to make sure that any person (mainly women) who worshipped gods of nature and practised natural and herbal medecine were persecuted and generally burnt. these symbols are not satanic! they re actually quite positif. but it is a common misbelief that they represent satan (as much by the ones who wear them and by any want to be god freak).
good and evil.... mmmmmh.... you can only believe in one if you believe in both. one does not go without the other so in believing in any of the two, you re actually accepting the "concept" of satan and god.
i hope that that made a litttle bit of sense!
boom
hehehe

ps: the question i think we should be thinking about is this: why is it that when us humans believe in something strongly, we want to convert everyone else to this belief???? .... and diss everyone else s belief???
live and let live please!!!

And 1 more thing:
The trax namez are nothing.
So what if now these things are overtly mentioned in the track names?
The feeling has been there from the beginning with acts like Cydonia, Sandman (Witchcraft is one EVIL sounding alblum, no?) Tim Schuldt and others. The very best classic Goa trance is the stuff with that sick edge to it. The stuff that sounds like music that would be played at some dark pagan rite deep in the nightime forest or a candlelit cavern in the days following the Apocolypse. Music that seems to touch off such a roaring rush of uncontrolled passion in side me exploding out of my center chakras (heart and solar plexus) in a chaotic orgasm of spiritual energy.

Something that is pure, undirected passion, as violent as it loving and as loving as it is violent. At this level there is no distinction between the two.

So IMO It is all about the feeling in the music. Fuck lyrics. "Go Kill the Christian Maggot!". What unenlgightened silliness! If there is true passion in the air at a party it will be unspokenly understood than anyone who crosses us or tries to stop what we are doing is getting torn limb for limb like Pentheus the King of Thebes when he tried to stop the Orgiastic rituals to Dionysis. Of course if the police come and shut us down of course we wont kill them but that isnt what is so important. It is putting out the vibe that we would if they did as that vibe i think acts like a protective magic charm to keep away would-be intereferers. Few people are dumb enough to try to stop someone in the midst of an ecstatic frenzy.

For me the Devil/Satan/Lucifer complex of archetypes all in the end represent the power of unbridled passion. Dark, twisted sounding music, for example Industrial, and darker psytrance, captures this feeling.

So I dont give a rats ass if the track names and alblum art have "satanic" themes.
What i want is music that brings out the passion of the dark side in its purest and most uncontrollable form!

Definately satanic in the eyes of the Church... they used to say that the Aztecs were using mushooms to commune with the Devil.

Hinduism is all that and more.. ironic??

1. Full Moon puja's.
2. tabla, Dholak ( very very traditional instruments infact)
3. opium, ganja, lsd have historically been used as a way of life, or attaining somethn higher spiritually.

@ Gaspard

Some inetrestin tid bits u mentioned.Incontext .. look at the Indian swastika. A holy , religious significance, but instead the Nazi's have created it into somethn evil and racist.

@ Psycosmo

There is nothing wrong with dark twisted music done skillfully like the Sandman's - Witchcraft that u have mentioned. I think that this topic is alltogether not about the dark and twisted nite sound but about something else that is more about Oran's post above mine.

Unfortunately ( unlike Oran - correct me if I am wrong ) I wouldnt underestimate the power of the dark ( and heavily drugged ) side

I am strictkly talking about the track titles and as I said earlier NOT the music itself.
As I have said before. If someone use a "evil" track title once or twice then I will assume it's for fun etc. But if you as an artists use evil titles with references to Demons, The Devil, satanism in each and every one of your tracks then I can only assume one thing. That you either pratice satanism or are attracted to it. But as I have said so many times now.. That's just my opinion and also the reason why i ask the questions I do.. But so far no one have been interested in giving me/us a straight answer. That makes me wonder

HandA what kind of answer do u expect?

-U r absolut right, all this artist are satanist and they pray to the devil.

-No wrong. It is just fun. And everyone want to look a bit more evil and more killer.

-Who cares at all? Were is the problem with if they are satanists?

I also can't give u a straight answer, i assume there is no straight one            Signature

well to answer rite to the question...its jes a way of makin a weird connection...somewhat to what handa says..yes..it is funny in a way..

dark=Evil thus we have evil sounding track names..etc etc... yea yea.. but at the end of it i feel all that the artist is trying to do is....put a flashy name to his piece of work..and make it sound cool and different and trying to show that...

this track name is very evil that means the sounds in the track are very evil..that means the track is a killaaaah track...simple as that...

bah the ways of life....
trust me we dont have to debate abt this for pages n pages...its jes a gimmick...it suits me...i dont mind it..if u mind it jes give it a blind eye..

@ detox..mate..same thing..jes a gimmick it looks like in the para hulu album its somewhat like the good and the bad coming to peace...well looking at it litrelly we all have our own good and bads dont we...its jes making a potrait in a rather different and obscure way...

cmon...guys... ...

jes my 2 cents

i just imagine a satanist with a nordlead, and a masterkeyboard with a pentagramm. he has posters of vampires in his room...
and hey, he likes psy-festivals.... where else do you have the entertainment like babys get killed in toilettes (shivamoon)? this is not a joke this is the ugly face of the real.

do you see there are always 2 sites of a thing. it doesnt matters if they are satanists or not. the question is what the crowd does with the music.
