Well, I like the #3 DJ as long as he is superpro.

Ever heard Richie Hawtin (Plastikman) or Carl Craig play? those people don't even look at the dancefloor, they are completley immeresed in the technique (and since their style, Techno, is entirley technical, this is what they have to do) and give "Killer" sets           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

doesn`t realy matter .... who looks at the d.j when the music is mind-blowing and u`r too busy diggin` ? i think it does`nt matter as long as there`s the right vibe and good music.... for all i care he can do a strip show while eating raw squids and jumping on a pogo stick... although that would be a sight impossible to ignore...

Hi,

i am one of the first persons...

i can´t stand still when i hear crazy music and see the crowd dancing...

my opinion to the Iceman´s is that most of this dj´s only want to make money....
(or they are not multitasking compatible, dancing and mixing together..hehe )

...so far.. stay tuned..BOOM

The best sets I've heard were all by DJs with their eyes glued to the mixer and CDJs. You could see that the DJs were in a zone, sunk so deep into what they're doing that they couldn't even think of the outside world anymore, always two hands at work, without time to drink water in a 2 hour set. The one exception would be Tsuyoshi, that manages to set queues, beatmatch, and EQ in a track in something like 8 seconds, and his sets are much more music-based than the average progressive (techno, techtrance, or full-on) ones that I like

Do any of you guys think that Dimitri when mixing with 4 CDJs and a turntable has enough time to go jumping around? And he's considered to be the best (by far) full-on DJ. One of the rare DJs in the trance world that has a technique in the levels of a techno DJ. A DJ is not winamp with a crossfader.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

and CDJ's are not technics or vestax or whatever.
real dj for me is still vinyl dj.
if u can manage, go to see jeff mills, gayle san, richie hawtin, this is real dj technique. imho

i dont like cdj's verymuch. (i mean the way of mixing, not the dj's!)           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

4 me, the DJ must understand his work.
Then is will not importend he's a performer like #1, #2 or #3...

Anakoluth, go check the CDJ 1000, it behaves and Techique wise is same as TT's           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.
