These DJs are Christopher Lawrence and DJ Dan who were #4 and #5 respectively in 2006 DJ Mag poll.

Here's the article about their cheating: http://www.djmag.com/index.php?op=story&type=news&story_op=display&status=Live&story_id=1017

Nice to see Armin kicked Tiėsto from the number 1 position. Well deserved, Armin stays true to playing the trance style he really loves. He's been playing that stuff since his career began and never really gave in to trends along the way.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Generally the artists who accord an importance to these kind of tops are also the ones who are well ranked in it coz they're the ones who benefits from the biggest marketing/promo from their record companies.

My view is that this is just another promotionnal tool for the artist in any case it can be interpreted as a notoriety instrument.

At the end of the day, it's a popularity contest amongst good djs that serve's as a marketing tool for themselves.

Yeah mate...its pretty much like this...

but popularity without this marketing tools doesnt work...
We can see that Fatboy Slim,Chemical Brothers an Daft Punk are for me the most famous in this list and they arent at least in the top15

and they probably has a higher price than most or all in the actual top 10.

The point is...
They can be absent for a year, two and for me they will still being top Djs.

One thing i think too...
They have a largest reputation..busy all year, and they dont worry too much about the Dj Mag Pool...so...this pool is not all in the djs world.           www.myspace.com/vfalabellaprogressive

DJ MAG is a good one.

but its completely irrelevant !

they are too much influenced by the european mainstream and thats why every damn year its the same names:
tiesto, armin, paul ect. ect.

its judged more on popularity and "crowns"
but i think the only one in that scene who realy deserves some good words is John Digweed !
