ehmmmm aren't you mixing bonbons with Chicken soup here? You are attending a classical percussion program/school and you start to talk about psytrance in a exam situation? Do you really think they would know what psytrance is? I have a classical training in piano at the Danish Royal Conservatory.... If I had started to rant about psytrancce and the artists (even though psytrance did not excist at that time) I don't think i would have lasted long. It's a classical world and therefore they concentrate on the music within those borders.... Quite understandable and logic. I honestly dont get some of you guys that need everything to evolve around this scene and music.. You even try to incorporate it into other totally different and incompatible things and risk getting good grades.......Weird.
So to answer your question. Yes I think you made a mistake and I can understand your teachers reaction. Your education is about classical percussion as you wrote. You can do whatever you like to do outside school and after getting your degree but stick to the subject of your education while being at school  Just a friendly advice. |

Great advice that why many so love Israelis when they travel outside of Israel. Because you show to everyone where is no need how proud you are and where you from. That same case exactly.
