I'm sorry, Xenomorph is one of my favorite artists, and I agree the dark label is thrown around too much these days, but you cant not call this music DARK AS FUCK

some dark psy artists: the delta, midimiliz, some x dream stuff, pope of gegga, opsis, authentic, russian square, tim schuldt's new stuff....
i think you may call this stuff dark, cause i've seen some crazy stuff on these parties.
i'm not joking when i say a belgian promotor once invited a vj on a party with authentic live, and this vj mixed war inmages, some creeepy animals, all kinds of riots, tortures and other creepy stuff, and projected this on a wall.
on this party many ppl had taken mushroomz, other used lsd, and they all danced like sick ppl on even sicker music. after the party ppl really freaked out, some ppl i know were throwing burning toiletpaper in the bushes, while i saw 2 girls sitting with their ass naked on the parking lot, from that party on i've decided to remove myself from the belgian psytekk scene, wich i really did.
if anyone here can tell me what is funny about tripping on dark music, while viewing horrible images just tell me, i think this is just sick.

And to Midislave, I have been to many parties like that, but sometimes tripping is not the thing to do. I learned that the hard way. I remember a party listening to DJ Teo from Disco Valley spin and the stuff was so vile I just wanted to curl up in a ball. After I returned to reality of course it was great. Teo is a great DJ and even though I love really crazy dark psy at that moment I felt like someone was taking a knife to my brain. As for the images, I think they're cool. Well, creepy animals are cool but I don't like war and torture. |

Very strange! I don't think it is good to show only bad stuff, it need to be a good balance, more good psy stuff then the scary stuff. But some old-skool horror movie stuff, from old movies, or also new ones, can be give a nice atmosphere

Even stranger. People shouldn't take this stuff if they can't handle reality.

if you are truly honest with yourself nothing your unconcious throughs at you while tripping will freak you out TOO much.
for me hallucinogens did show me things that were never in my head, why else would anyone call it a psychedelic experience if there was
nothing new happening, something that was not in your head already.
i've seen ppl change from happy good ppl to selfish bad ppl just because of drugs.
what i just cannot understand anymore is why ppl can freak out on something that is this bad, i've been in the belgian goa scene(i've gone hardcore:) ) for 5 years, the last 2 years the scene split up into a full on goa scene and a small psytekk(dark) scene, i went into this dark scene, because i liked the music, i did dope 3 times every week, all i could think, say, dream,... was about this music, the lifestyle,....
only now(2 yrs later) that i quit the scene i can really see how sick some parties were, and i really can no longer understand why a human can freak out on such things. i still love dark music, and i still play it all the time, but the thing that has changed inside of me is that the darkness in my soul has disapeared, i no longer feel like dancing on lsd, while watching horrible pics, and dancing on hard dark music, it is opposite now of what i liked before, and i no longer see a need to link the music with the pics and dope.

Dark parties are dangerous! If the human sacrifice wasn't bad enough - you also keep bumping into things. Could end up with a really nasty bruise!

well usually me and my friends dress out like vampires, eat raw flesh in stroboscope.
Then we go to a graveyard and pray to different dark psy artists. Then we back party and dress in cool clothes and dance liek in mtv and enjoy the hapy morning trance and hopefulle get laid while listening to full on music. Its amazing. Totallly new and refreshing! |
