Good solid work we have here. My favorites are God Help Us,Get Funked Up,Porno Fever and Spin Me. Seems like Chemical Crew realy want to improve themselves after weak Mafia .           Spiritual guides are to practice and serve in ways that cultivate awareness, empathy, and wisdom.

Disapointing for me. Instead of being ahead of Chemical Crew, like his prior tracks, he became one of them. Oh well... Didn't have too much expectations from this one anyway.

I strongly disagree! This album has WAY more fucking balls than most of the clubby CRAP Chemical Crew are releasing nowadays! How anyone can compare Damage to the commercial crap of Void or Skazi is beyond me. This album is 'in your fucking face' from the word go!

for me its disapointing as well.
i always loved damage but this album sounds like cc
it just happend as i thought...
the album is not that bad but its just better
cc - stuff
i´m really sad about that!

i hope his releases on other labels sound like the "old" damage stuff.

because the album is full of these skazi-like uplifting elements...

I think this album is excellent.
I enjoyed all the tracks & can't wait to see Damage live again.

Well done Deon.

Looking forward to your next album too, just hope we don't have to wait as long as we did for this one.

I think this is a bit harsh man.
I understand that this is your opinion but what ever happen to constructive criticism.

mmm....I would like to hear deeper harder basslines in Deon's future music.

IMHO....The basslines are really high and causes the tracks to lose the power they previously had.

His stuff with NRS on the Electric Embryo CD is KILLER!!
His track with NRS on the latest LPS is killer!

Bring back the PHAT basslines......PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, this is definitly not true, Deon is a very good producer, and has been a very big part of the damage sound, its was always really his vibe,....if he choose to change the damage sounds a bit, then thats his choose,... this does not really have anything to do with Broken Toy

i have to agree with most people here, that this album lacks' alot of the damage sound we are use to. That's not nessisarly a bad thing in the end, because evolution is the key, but the fact that the mastering job on this album is horrible makes us feel the tracks alot less then what we are used to. All the tracks are really low and feel weak when you mix them with other tracks. Its nothing like the track with NRS on "new blood" compilation..

its a good album none the less and i hope to hear alot of the tracks at parties, only i won't be the one playing them out.

the broken toy album is much much better if you ask me..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9

mmmm...the artists have two differant styles....hard to say which is better.

I love Deons tracks and have been watching him and James since the beginning.
Its just this album that seems differant to me.

It definately the higher basslines. (for me)

But all the other tracks he has released are hard ....dark bass thumpers.

mmmm...i dunno.

Will ask him when he is online.
