Selling an album or a few tracks is for most psytrance artists not very profitable.
The most money is being made with doing "livesets" 
So i see releasing more as a promotion tool to get your name out there. Being signed at a big label doesnt mean instant bucks but it does mean that its more easy to get some decent bookings.
And this is also almost the only way of making your living in this scene.
Thats why i'm not pinning myself to progressive psy but am also busy with more commercial projects in styles like: Electro house/ progressive trance / theivery corp style of downtempo.

i guess, the more commercial trance gets, the bigger possibility to sell more, but thats only in case you really get in for it and work hard to reach high sales outside the psy scene.

yes we cn make money by guin out of psy bt th point is to find out more ways to multiple our money by selling psy albums............

by outside the psy scene i meant all those peeps that go to all big parties and dont care much about music itself as long as that music has kick and bass  |
