yeah, that's what Solomoon said last year - that one time he doesn't want to do any deco, lights, etc, and just have speakers and trees..
it'll be like one of those mountain techno parties where you can't see your way around except by the direction of the THUMP THUMP THUMP 
Jagged does have one of the best sounding systems i've heard... you'll hear that thump from a long way away. ..it's just another party.. |

Paradigm's third installment of our 3 chapter open air summer.
This gathering has been planned for several years in remembrance of a family member once close to me who continues to fuel my inspiration and desire to live a fruitful life.

Isn't there a better way to commemorate besides "releasing balloons" into the air? Seems environmentally irresponsible to me.

With how responsible our crew is with these gatherings, including such "irresponsibilities," you mention, one session of balloon releasing shouldn't be frowned upon.
After all, this is to celebrate the life of someone close to me, and how I relate this to others.
I think you could've thought of something more productive to comment on in this forum than making a remark about how this one gesture that includes everyone at the gathering is environmentally unfriendly...especially as it is for the sake of something quite personal + moving, not for decoration.
The release is to be done by every individual, with small groupings of balloons given to each person or group at the gathering, and then at a specific moment at sunrise, much like Earthdance's Prayer for Peace, the release will be synchronized.
Glad the first thing you thought of was how irresponsible this is and not its true meaning or purpose. Next time maybe look at the bigger picture.
