Gorgeous!! For all of my senses!!! Thank you MoE crew. Thank you everybody! Bodhi's set was spectacular. Desert Goddess' creations were magnificent. Bodhi & Desert Goddess' mutual creation, Eris  is just marvelous. Blessings for your beautiful family. It takes a tribe... Thank you fire drivers. Skip & Nayeli, many thanks for your hospitality. In my heated state I left without a word - but you know... Devic, wonderful meeting, finally, in this life time. Fractal Cowboys blew my mind. Horror Place changed my mind! Big hugs and thanks to the MoE crew, Skip and group for putting up the event .. what an amazing night! .. the weather were was perfect for a desert night .. excellent sets by all the artists .. so much good music .. it was a treat .. good to see zik again and he still has his crazy ideas on him .. 
the altar was well thought of .. all the "Hindu" benefactors were present along with the ancient energy of the crystals .. that was neat ..
the night was really amazing with the fullmoon and the stars in the sky .. you could feel the free flow of energy all around you .. if only the night was longer ..
and lastly, most importantly .. it was a pleasure meeting all the wonderful people .. hugs ..

hello hello hello hello.
Back from the desert and still smiling. What an experience! The weather was purrrfect, the nite was clear and beautiful. I danced with no jacket all nite long. The fire was amazing, we had enough fuel to go strong all nite The opening ritual was beautiful. I felt that it started off the nite wonderfully. By the end everyone was dancing, and that was the goal! The music....was breathtaking. I was working the gate during Greenman's and Bodhi's sets, but from what I heard they were playing great stuff! Ghreg took us on a immensely deep trip. His music just fills the vast expanse of desert and of the mind. So intelligently arranged, a true sonic architect! The level of emotion contained in those sounds is astounding. Horror Place... I've seen him play twice before, but with this live set i truly understand the meaning of the name Alex has this ability to solicit so many FEELINGS in his music. It's like he is ripping emotions from your brain/heart/body. I went through the entire emotional spectrum, from pure bliss to frustration and fear and then right back to bliss again. The intensity level was waaaaaaaay high. it reminded me of that time just before sunrise at Gil parties. Its the kind of music that makes you forget who you are, what you are doing there, that you have ever been there before or will ever be there again, it rips you out of this time continuim and the moments of confusion and clarity grow and grow in strength. One second you don't even know what planet you are on and the other second there you are with your two feet planted firmly on the earth; and all of a sudden everything makes sense! For a brief moment you are completely tapped into this collective conciousness, where we are more than seperate entities contained in our own bodies and minds, but we are one intermingled "set" of energy... and this is why you are here and what you are doing this for.... "you have now reached the point of tranquility"... the fractal cowboys came on and lightened things up a bit, allowing our brains to play around in this crazy space we ended up in! and UV played a funky, and groovy morning set, that left no room for cheesiness was nice to bring the Doof sound of the isreali desert to the mojave desert.
I never leave the desert the same as when i entered. The two previous times I left a lot of emotional baggage out there... the desert drank it up and i left feeling lighter. This time was different completely. I didn't really have anything to leave there. Instead the desert renewed my strength. I was dancing and everything just lined up so perfectly. I would take a breath in and it would just ground me completely.
It was really really great to be surrounded by so many friends and good people. To all of those i met and reconnected with, yay! The vibe was incredible to whole night.
So many thank yous... to all the folks who helped organize the opening ceremony, to Skip and Nayeli for everthing!, to all the djs, to Will yum and Justin and the others who helped with the XLR8R, to Billy for the beautiful altar, to everyone who came and danced with an open heart, to Catia for taking such good care of us, without her I would have completely freaked out!!

Wow, what a night! My wonderful offspring is getting so used to the desert that she just went to sleep like a big girl all by herself in the tent! Amazing. The music was fantastic, my faves were (of course) my Bodhi, and UV as well...he got me dancing after I had barely slept all week, stayed up all night, and was crashed out on an air mattress. Whatever he was playing made my feet feel the groove in my semi-conscious state, and I just had to get up! The peeps were pretty awesome too...during the drive home, whenever I closed my eyes I had visions of trancers dancing through the desert. A HUGE thank you to Nyeli, for driving the little one home, that was a great respite for us. And to everyone else who played with her all day long...it's your influence that will shape the person she becomes, and the more she's exposed to your beautiful, conscious selves, the more she'll grow to love and cherish everything that we value. I can't wait to do this again, and again, and again!!! |

This party was not just any desert party but a very special one.....thanx to the MoE for a great gathering! The ritual in the beginning was brilliant and really brought everyone together early in the night. I'd say there was close to 300 peaking somewhere in the middle of the night, most of them showing up early, and leaving shortly after sunrise due to the heat  . The music was good, a nice variety of dark psy.....some for the early evening, some for the middle of the night and some for the morning. The darker more twisted psy has its own subgenres as well, although it wasnt all "twisted" psy at this event, there was alot of more dark minimal sound also. I really like how this event had most acts play their own music. It was also good to have UV out bringing some of the good Israeli morning desert sound out. Thanx again MoE! I was so honored to finally play a MoE party! And WOW there were so many great people that came out,.....this made the party for me! Once again the Mojave has cleansed my soul!

wowowow, i'm still amazed at what happened out there. Everyone i've talked to has said it was a very special party for them
yay!
and just FYI, there was about 100-150 people max small but strong energy
thank you all for coming, i am soooo happy to know such wonderful freaks!

thank you very much ladies, that was a wonderful event. I was back on the east coast for a family emergency last year when you did your desert party, i am grateful for coming to this one. it was a great night, i danced my arse off for hours on end early in the night and couldn't bare to stand in the morning. all i could do was dance in my head during UV's set.
i would have to say that in 6 years of desert parties, the weather from this night had to have been the absolute best. 70 degrees at night with a cool breeze, perfect for drying that sweat from freakin on the dancefloor.
plus its always a bonus to see the sun and the moon across from each other on the horizon's.
ps-thanks to bodhi and greenman for playing some of my tracks, it was great to hear them in FRONT of brad's speakers. big smiles......
We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.
