8:51pm – 10am (arrive early!!)
"Luna" refers to the moon,
"Therial" refers to therianthropy: the process of physical, spiritual, emotional or otherwise transformation from human into non-human form. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Therianthrope
Summon your primal nature and let it guide you, as we connect to the celestial expanse of the Mojave desert landscape and star-filled sky, through dance and celebration. Invoke your power animal. Let your inner self shine under the light of the full moon. Wolf Spirit, Snake Spirit, Rabbit Spirit, Owl Spirit..... we call you in to join our dance of life and renewal in the blossoming heart of spring. Reveal your inner animal spirit through costume, mask, body paint and more. Please plan to arrive early (before dark) and join us at Moonrise (8:51pm) to begin the celebration. An opening ceremony will prepare us for the all nite dance ritual. Once the circle is cast, an ancient drama will be interpreted with a blaze of fire dancing and capoeira. And then the dance begins…
Guiding this ritual, on the fabulous Network 23 sound system, will be:
Jesi, Bodhisattva 13:20, Xylamanda (debut live performance), Ghreg on Earth, Alien Mental, The Fractal Cowboys, and UV (label manager of Doof records) with visual wizardry by EgNogRa & minkus.
The moon will be full.
The ritual dance fire will be raging.
The sound system will be booming.
Let's dance!
$15 at the gate.

That last Mojave party on March 18th left me aching for more...I've been eagerly anticipating this one ever since, pulling myself through the monotony of work and chores and dealing with bullshit, knowing this party would be happening soon.

What a beautifully written post...reminds me of the old psy undergounds years ago!
I have been looking forward to this event for a long time. I am currently writing new tunes to debut at this event. I still havent decided which animal spirit I will connect with, still have a month to decide/prepare.

Hope you all are getting exicted, and getting your costumes together... i've heard some VERY cool costume ideas and can't wait to see them all come together. We've been busy busy busy putting together an opening ceremony that will start the nite off with a shared intention, and also be a fun and exciting fire drama for you to enjoy!

good score gettin the greenman. this guy booked me to play in western mass last september in a college town i hadn't been to a rave in, for almost 10 years. we had a blast, a very gracious host and a mean sound engineer. damn good system....
his mixing is excellent and the track selection style kind of reminds me of psyclops in the way that he always knows the perfect moment to play the perfect track, regardless of genre.
also to note, greenman is pumpin the psy on the college airwaves of UMASS Amherst (one of the biggest campuses in the state) and 4 other Ivy League schools, , as well as most of western mass. The eyes are opening!
he's definitely a veteran and a soldier for the psychedelic scene, make sure to get there early!!!
We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.
