I can't wait for this party!!! At Xara, my friend Josh let me use his face paints (blacklight reactive) and I painted faces for 4 hours straight, and he's bringing them to this!!! So if you want your face painted funky and psychedelic, visit me on my face-painting blanket  However, you might want to come kinda early, because once the music starts getting real good, I think I'm gonna have to dance.
I also want to say, I'm bringing my daughter to this party (she's 4 and 1/2). Anyone who has kids, please consider bringing them out! I think it would be awesome to have a few little monkeys running around during the day, and the more of them there are, the more they're likely to keep eachother occupied and let me um....do my own thing.

hells yea looking forward to this party! full moon,desert, psy, and its my brothers bday and my friend from florida is flying in for this! its been too long since we all got together to go to an event of this nature! Also i cant wait to bump into some of the crazy cool people tom introduced me to at the ranch altho this time i feel it might get wierder:P esp with bodhi playin! tear it up brother!

hiya!! Is it too early to start the countdown? i have shivers thinking about it! a few things i want to mention...
- about the face paints: just FYI there won't be any blacklights at this gathering, the "deco" consists of the beautiful desert backdrop and our beautiful dancing and costumed selves.... the more of us that are dressed up the cooler it will be There will also be an altar created by our good friends Takuan the pickled radish and Josie. Please feel free to bring contributions to add the the altar!!!!
- about arriving early: this is an all nite intentional dance ritual. I really would like to encourage everyone to arrive early, in time for the opening ceremony. It would be ideal if all the participants could be present as we cast the circle and begin our journey through the nite. The opening ceremony will start at moonrise, approx. 8:51 pm...
- the lineup is fantastic. you should expect the music and the dance to take you on a deep trip through the nite, and then tickle your senses silly with a sunrise set from fractal cowboys. I'll be posting the full lineup here as the time gets closer.
- This is a LEAVE NO TRACE event, please pack out what you bring in and RESPECT the earth!
- Please bring everything you need to survive in the desert: water, food, sunscreen, etc. If you have a shade structure to set up beside the dance floor bring it!
- Please carpool!! No one gets left behind! You can use our tribe to coordinate rides: mistressofevil.tribe.net
- Please leave any negative energy you have at home. Come with an open mind and heart, and treat each other and the land with respect!
I'm really really really really really looking forward to dancing with you all. The amount of love and energy going into this event is astounding. it really feels like a family gathering.
