infected mushroom , sub6 , altom , astrix , 4 page feat in that mag ..
also if anyone has heard of a psy night/promoter called psycle they r doin a night in association with hotdog ...
which it's advetised on the hotdog message board @ http://www.ukclubland.net

Psycle are a Nottingham based night that play a mix of psy trance & hard trance + Hotdog are a midlands based hard dance night - so its not unlikely they'd do something together. |

I really dont like the sound of it, Why cant the psy scene stay underground. Commercialisation means killing the vibe. The psytrance culture has always been for 'Comrades' and always will be.

Sept has been quite crazy with the Uk dance music press.Idj,Mixmag and Dj mag.The Idj will have a big article of the Glade in Oct as well as comments abt the scene.
The mixmag this month has Psy on the front cover as well.But i must say even though i do consider myself an open minded person 90% of the mixmag review is cheesey and way of the mark.
I reckon the idj is the best and most professional article (must admit that i am a bit biased though.ha ha) |

Mixmag stopped being a sensible read quite a few years ago - but I've been quite impressed with IDJ last few times I've bought it - it seems a decent mag.
I always used to like WAX - although the writing was appaling - it had good coverage of the underground dance scenes - but seems nobody bought it - so it went under!
But I'd obviously recomend UPFRONT for all your trance/techno/hard dance needs & reviews - theres psy trance in it EVERY issue! New issue due out in a week or two...

Not really - its based in Bristol and covers the whole UK scene - the new edition has features on Astrix, Infected Mushroom, the Glade and two pages of psy reviews as well as features on lots of other stuff. |
