hello fellow boomers from india..jes wanted to give a little insight on what to expect here in portugal.right now the weather is kinda hot about 40 degrees, but in the eve its quite pleasant.i was recently at idanha a nova for the goa gil gig and jes to let u know that the actual venue is about 40 kms far from idanha a nova, its close to a village called idanha a velha.there are not many travelling options to go to the site from idanha a nova but u can always hitch a ride from fellow boomers.if you are coming to portugal thru lisbon you can go by train to castelo branco, its the nearest railway station to idanha a nova.it takes about 40 minutes by road from castelo branco to idanha a nova.you can find all the details, prices, timetables etc on the website cp.pt .the next option and in my opinion the best option is taking a bus from lisbon which goes directly to idanha a nova.you can catch the bus from SETE RIOS which is a major bus terminal in lisbon.it takes about 10 mins by taxi from lisbon airport.you can find info about bus timings on rede-expressos.pt .the costs for this travel is 16 euros. i reside in lisbon if u need any info/help feel free to msg me..have a safe journey..love n light to all           bholenath sab ke saath...

Thanks for the info ! I am flying from Bombay and will be in Lisbon on the 29th morning 11:30 am ... is anyone else arriving at the same day/time?

I was looking for options to get to the festival and found this guy here on Isra who is organizing mini buses to the festival for 50 euros from the airport. Seems like getting on the train or bus is cheaper (but might take more time and not direct).

@Psykology - Website for buses does not list the Sete Rios stop ? Can you please direct me to it or let me know the timings ?

How are others getting to the festival

Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip. Will be going next time. Sadly there is no ticket refund policy as well. Hope all of you will have a great time.           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

A video from the beginning of our set @ Boom.

We played a 4 hour set, starting at 8am with a tabla recital, then 4 tracks from our ongoing production work from Kolkata (2 of which are heard in the video), followed by a chillUmafia DJ set.

Nice one Yidam.

Btw. can you post pics you took from the Boom festival?? Also, if possible describe it in words. I'm sure some of us who couldn't make it would like to have a glimpse to see how amazing it was =)

Thanks guys. Live set was fun but the production is still very raw so it's back to the studio for layers of polish before this stuff gets out.

Some DJ bits from Boom are up on the page though: http://www.facebook.com/chillumafiamusic. Still reconstructing the tracklist.

Chillout Garden's lineup is now complete...

http://www.boomfestival.org/boom2014/program/chill-out-gardens/

This imo is one of the most eclectic downtempo stages you can hope to find, the traditional psychill sound is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the styles represented.
