We get the funktion 1 here in Oz every couple of weeks, awesome system, full digital, it rocks the house! I must say I have heard better though

well i haven't been to boom 2004, but i heard about the problems, so when i read they are getting a funktion one now, i am kind of happy because it seems they have really cared about the complaints of the people and are switching to a stereo system (which should be a better choice for such a big dancefloor

)

Need some help people.

I`m comming to Lisbon on the 1st of august, and I was wondering if someone could recomend a nice hostel, or give me some pointer in looking one up.

I looked up a lot of hostels on the internet, but the vast number of them and trouble finding their location left me in doubt.

Any help is largley appreciated.

and whats the scene with the tents ? how many ppl per tent ?? how do they manage that ?

the only place i've slept in Lisbon is on the airport floor.. and that I don't recommend...

Hows the prices in Portugal, and hows the prices for food etc. at Boom?

well it depends mate..but if your "coin" is stronger than ours, don´t worry

i rarely ate at the festival but between 5/10 euros u get a good meal.
in town the prices maybe a little bit smaller, but town is a little bit far from fest...
so this means we are gonna all b there fragletrollet ?

If you need a place to stay in Lisbon: there are quite some nice and affordable hostels near the Apolónia railway station in Lisbon, i have been there a couple of times, but busy, but ok. Go check it out.
