i´´ve heard that boom festival 2006 allready have dates.
From 3 to 9 of August, can anybody comfirm this please

Yes, u r right!
but i heard that this time they´r going to start with sound tests almost 1 month before the event, to improve previous mistakes.

My only advice is to think better about the line up
ex:
D-Nox at 19:00 , playing for few people, is absurd... and in 2004, the same thing happened with Peter Didgital and Tati.
Better to put some relaxing pumping tunes, by some young musicians that can have their moment also!
Ho, and plese , less cars inside the festival! |

Great news 7days /6night that is awesome.
And this sound system issue is crazy when using 4 stacks you are going to experience delay its just one of those things. I like 4 stacks as it creates a dancefloor.
The system they used at the Boom 2004 was a Nexo Geo, they are one of the best sound systems in the world and even Glastonbury uses this system on the main stage.

it was awful to ear it, one sound here, the outher sound there...
the majoraty of the people that i know that went to BOOM 2004 don´t like it that way...

About the sound, if they are going to do the dome again, how about a circular stack where the umbrellas where, with the stacks in a cone, pointing down over the dj's, facing outwards, so the sound travels outwards in a concentric wave, like when you throw a pebble in the water ... |
