i agree with skinny on freakulizer and bliss! very good partysound i think.
also the new space monkey album kicks ass if you ask me. it's such a nice blend between full-on sounds and happier melodies. sound no one has to fear 
anyways as already stated before by others: best thing is a nice blend of dark stuff, full-on and melodic stuff (even progressive) for the daytimes.
whoever has attended indian spirit 2005 knows what i mean, the timetable was planned perfect for the different daytimes

nice to see so many ppl here...talking about the best festival of the planet 
I hope this year Boom Fest. can bring to us all the feelings and pure emotions...cause Boom Fest. is all that ..and somme else more...
Line up? hmmmm... i waitt for that ...keep in touch...bring to us names just like Bizarre Contact...Ananda Shake...Vibe Tribe ...Black & White..too much...nooooo...we are talking about Boom...nothing is too much for that

i live 15 km from idanha, en we already seen flyers to confirm that boom is here in Idanha!but i can't find any info on the boom site!is there more info out thare? |

well about last boom (2004)
the ticket prices were: (this info was putted in isratrance on the 22 April 2004)
Pre-sale tickets : 70 euros until 15 june
15 june until 31 july : 85 euros
at the door : 100 euros.
and the location was Idanha a Nova, near Castelo Branco..it is in the interior of Portugal...Very hot place..
about the line, in 2004, it was anounced in 29 of June 2004..(here in isratrance)
note: this is only 2 give some lights..

Today I got a small flyer announcing Boom Festival 2006, for the Full Moon of August, between 3th and 9th. On the flip side, besides advertising the Boom DVD, there are also dates for Utopia - The Official Boom After Party - 11th and 12th of August.
I hope the Line-Up will be given to us sooner than on the previous edition, and that it will have music for all kinds of tastes. I'm more of a progressive guy but I know that in a Festival variety is the key. For all of you that only talk about full-on or dark stuff, I ask you to be more open-minded and accept that everybody must have their space. As for me, when the dark stuff, if there will be any, is going to be played, I'll just check the chill-out or other areas of the festival.
I would love to see at Boom:
Antix
Jaia
Mr Peculiar
Kino Oko/Bigwigs
The Commercial Hippies
Ace Ventura
Atmos (again hehehe... )
Freq
Sun Control Species
Check www.boomfestival.org for updates.
There you can read that the gates will open on the 3th of August at 9 AM. And that "all basic infrastructures will be ready and working to attend to your needs."
On the 4th of August "The Ambient and Liminal Villages, Performances and Art sectors will start / open."
And then on the 5th "the Dance floor will open and join all the other running areas."
I think this is a big improvement to prevent the queue of cars to the entrance.
