What's good about Traktor is that everything can be controlled in MIDI, it's like mixing with a synth

i think that u can map keyboard to keys...not too sure bout that though....let me too know once u find out...
I too agree that Traktor is the best software out there...but can be quite intimidating for some1 just starting out....maybe atomix would be a better choice.....its much easier |

im with zoopy - virtual dj definitely is a nice software to use for windows. iv tried using traktor but its a bit frustrating to work with it, especially since the beat matching keeps tweaking out. i know its good in the sense that even real mixers do that but with real mixers its nice to actually have the analog controller to have your full attention. its not that exciting to go about clicking away on the a pc. when i mix on a pc its sort of like something i like doing while im checking mail or doing other stuff, not a full attention grabber, but with a pair of cdj's its a whole different story

Traktor if you like easy beat matching on the fly and you prefer the conventional looking dj setup. Live if you like messing with fx and are willing to have your set planned out to some extent. Not necessarily a "push play" type of thing, but it's a bit more difficult to beat match and stretch the tracks properly..then again you have around 6 minutes between tracks to work with.
It's all preference, just try them all.

Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |
