Magic is not logic. Magic is love!!!!!!
So why this obsession with LOVE?????
I tell you why mutherfucka, its because love will kick your ass any day.

I say that Love is Magic, but Magic is not Love. There is some terribly malevolent and unloving magic out there.
For me logic is a big part of magic. I think that the best magical actions are functional on both the gross plane of material logic and the etherial plane of magical logic. Magic often involves bringing the world of logic and the world of etherial fantasy into harmony, such that one feeds the other.

Like some people have already said, a lot has to do with how you want to c things.
And you can also get stuck in words.
Could be called magic by one person and science by another, and maybe in essence they are describing the same thing. Why get anal about it? Plus a lot has to do with style, how you wrap and sugar coat what you make of reality. So we are all like a big art collage with our different views.
If somebody doesn't believe. That's fine, you've got your own world to look through and I ain't gona impose mine on you. You dig?

Yeah, I guess reason and logic have its place, but you know sometimes what you want to do is jump out beyond this constrained outlook where everything has to make sense. Depending to much on logic can be a buzz killer. You miss the song, you miss the kiss and stop making love. Hope I don't sound to ilogical with this. hehehe.
Sometimes what you need is to forget all you know, stop fucking thinking, stop counting, analyzing, breaking everything into little parts and pieces trying to solve the puzzle. Maybe there is no puzzle and its all in our head. Maybe the real puzzle is how to get out of the puzzle mentality.
You know it seems sometimes that we are only limited by what we think. And with all our thoughts, logic and reason we are in the end only creating a huge labirinth which we later can not escape.
Do you believe in Magic? You know belief suggests doubt. Do you believe in dogs? even the question sound funny, because dogs are fact.. there is no doubt. You don't have to believe in them, they are for real. Anyhow I think I am going in circles with this thought process, again I am trying to dissect everything and logicaly analyse the premise. I am creating a new window which did not exist, maybe absolutely useless.
I want to fly. I guess we need logic but we should not get stuck in it. Its like playing music, bannging the drums. Eventually you want to take off and stop counting the tempo and just groove. Just jamm.
Anyways, I also think that a lot of magic takes place when you don't choke the energy. When you let it be and let it take its way without you chasing it to happen.
But if you want to think of it in another way maybe everything is magic anyways. And we are all like wizards shaping the world with our thoughts like magic wands. So knowing you are an all powerful wizard really makes you become more counscious about the spells you put out into the world.
Others speak of malevolent magic. Why are we humans malevolent and other animals just free from this duality where they are judged as evil doers. Next to the big universe maybe we are equally as dumb as the squierrls, the ant and the rabbit. So if they are not malevolent why then are we? Can we just be instead humans trying to get through the wrong end like a dog biting out of fear, confusion and basic instinct? nothing malevolent. Maybe malevolent is just another window we open, another window we create, a new labirinth we have created.
Thats why I choose to explain things not in terms of good and evil. But instead in terms of only all good, only good. We are all rabbits, perfecly imperfect. Like grass and water, or particles bouncing through space creating some unknown melody. It can be any melody, so lets choose a melody that we like. Lets invent a ship made of love..
And lets fly

udit ~ mate here is the diffenence on me: i dont like to do magic, i like to let magic do to me.
u see, i beleive in magic, and rituals power also, but i dont like to do rituals, i dont like to try
to gain power, but i love to feel the magic power fullfill me naturally.(without me asking for it,
but only to get what i naturally deserve..)
if you try to gain power, this
is not
nature, it;s more humanized, while the natural magic is spacy;
contrary, there are some arrangements you can do to let the energy flow better, crystals work fine,
incense, candle light, firelight, chakra exercises, chanting, dance(shiva)(boom);) even little objects
that you love, paintings that you make, music that you
like, pictures, anything that makes you feel good and relaxed.also, as for rituals, yogis beleive that
eating food must be a ritual, and i guess they are right, making love is ritual too, you can live your
whole life like this, and every little thing that you do can be a ritual.
i beleive in rituals and spells that are used over the centuries, of course they work, since they used
for hundreds of years,
repeated regularly,and build up an energy of their own.
but i think the real magic is in you and flows freely, and i beleive every one of us, individually, has
different formula
to use in order to keep the magic alive. chants, spells, rites, songs, ceremonies, every each of us has
its own self-dedication system. so, is not that you need to join a coven and do rituals or anything.
anyway, as we do have some control over our destinies and some freedom to chose the beleif systems and
philosophies that govern our lives..if we choose paths which emphasize l o v e of one another and of
the whole of creation, then a sufficient mass weight of opinion will built up to change for the better
the societies in wich we live.
The source of spiritual vision is deep within us;
within the heart, mind, soul and spirit.
In our era we are seeing a shift of authority away from outside authorities to within the individual.
theres no centralized and orthodox version of deity to wich all must subscribe;
instead we have the spiritual reality of today, which is Pluralism :
there are many paths, many ways, many visions of the Divine..
what members of this new spiritual community share is a common commitment to the Sacret Quest -
for wholeness within and for social, community and planetary responsibility
however each1 of us, is free to experience our OWN religious symbols and to create a personal
spirituality based on understanding the true nature of the holistic universe.

Some people are born with the gift of entering deeper states of consciousness, natural witches, yogis,
mystics, others just have to learn to achieve them.. there are many meditation techniques that can help,
i beleive each1 has each own unique 1 as i already said..just has to find it deep inside himself.
Trance involves a change of brain state. there are 4 patterns of brain activity.
in our normal state a fast pattern of activity known as Beta helps as focus on the present. a deeper
consciousness involves Theta waves, wher you are aware of the past and the future also as well as the
present:
this is what magik requires us to achieve, theta conciousness when we are awake..
now, between Beta and Theta patterns is another 1: Alpha.
we tend to enter this state when we relax with our eyes closed.
Alpha conciousness is a gateway to the deeper states of consciousness that we need to develop for magik.

it's easy enough to create negative energy..
yes i agree, a little anger can be therapeutic..
we swear, curse and stamp our feet and feel a lol better.
this harms no one. accumulated anger and the negative energy build up needed to indulge in cursing will
make us stressed and ill. people who brood and indulge in hate became hateful.
As the psychologist CARL JUNG said, we all become like the thing we hate.
nor can we do what we will with impunity.
magic operates according to the 3-fold law :
the energy that we transmit returns to us but 3 times as strongly as before
the universe seeks equilibrium and harmony
if we create negative energy then the universe will choose at some point to short-circuit our effords,
with extremely unpleasant effects..
....

Excuse me mister officer. No, no I don't. I do believe in a lot of "magical" things. But the line is drawn at things like this. I HAVE to see it to believe it. Do you know what kind of psychical laws you have to manipulate to make a solid glass float in thin air. By only using your mind? I might be a spiritual atheist. But give me proof, and I will believe. When I was 21 years old, I managed to make my whole body float 30 cm from the couch that I was resting (yes, and smoking) in. I didn’t believe my self then, and I sure don’t believe my self now. Are you telling me that you believe in me, when even I don’t? i have a true story of an autistic child actually, who had the power to move things etc, it;s also a movie made upon this story, yes, there are powers, just we people, specially the most common ones, have never ever learned to use them.
it is all a power of the mind. to use your mind,dont forget, that you have to get our of your head .. mr.off

I know, and I want to believe. But I refuse to believe blindly. A friend of mine (who is a hard core smart realist) had a ex-gf. When she was small she managed to bend a spoon with her child (pure) brain. Her family still got the spoon. My friend (the realist) tries to believe, and I guess benife his stubborn realistic brain, he does. I'm not closed minded, not at all. I'm just a little bit selective. |
