and how this relates to psytrance, well, lets just say that the people in most arab's countries, would not produce music for masses outsidte there own country.. they would stick to there bellydancing tunes out of habit and closed mindedness (not a bad closemindedness, but one that follow's there traditions that have been followed for years and years in the past)...

ok more on the saudi's i guess: indeed there are an alliance with the us, yet the majority are anti-west and only the ruling family and select businessmen are fond of the western ties and its ideas. i suggest you look more into that... its hard to go on with this discussion without people knowing the facts. regarding iran on the other hand, is the opposite - the ruling party is in the minority and there is a vast population enouraging the west and its ideas.
anyway im done with this topic, i feel i have no more to add and that im diving into politcs.

Yes but there are many christians there.. 
BTW about artists there are a lot of World Music, Chill Out and stuff like that but indeed (too) few Psychedelic Trance..
Remember also that many countries are not as developped as european coutries or israel.. So I guess it is only a matter of time !

Im Morroco you have some psy artists. The most well known is Toires who has produced tracks on several Psy compil (Moon Spirits, Totaly Eclipsed). But as Kakoo said, Toires music is more world and ethno chillout than psy even if he shows trancey influences. BTW, Toires origin is French, even if now, he lives in Morroco and he's muslim.
Now, in France you have several psy artists having magrebian origin (Algeria, Morroco or Tunisia).
To finsh the picture, there were or there are many funny parties organised in Morroco like
Desert Trance Festival which will be on 12/30/2004 in Zagora. You can see past parties pictures on :

politics are depressing to me. used to be interested, but i'm becomming more and more apathetic as the years go on.

There are no drugs in arab countries and the rules are really strict in this aspect..
Also the govt usually is a very hard dictatorship so even if someone wants a scene it will be really risky to do so. You will def go to jail for life or something.
The only way a scene would emerge is of we spike all the big sheik's children with lots of acid music when they go abroad for college. so then when they go back home they can use all their big palaces when parents are not around to thrown psy trance parties with exotic belly dancers and dates and funny hookas filled with salvia and dmt..
im imagining a palace with a stream runnign through the palace and lots of psy colours and huge ceilings and stained glass windows letting in coloured light and funny arab mystical deco and of course some blasting music and vibes hehehehe
and dont forget the genies and the lamps |

I ve live a long time in saoudi arabia n i don t think most of the people in this forum even have a clue what s goin on there...
First of all the dedicated blindly to their religion(eye for an eye n staff like that)angry,not open minded people,women there are very underestimated n treated like a piece of shit..not allowed to walk alone in their home country...MUST be 247 fully covered body and face...can t even get a drivers licence!
There are certain rules that are forced by the authorities,not the police but the church,rules like everything every 5-6 everything must close for about an hour or 2 because it s time to pray,no drinking cause alcohol is stricly forbiten (once i paid $100 for a miniature Jonnie Walker)no drugs,couldn t find a join and in general people might get hanged for breaking the law...
so how can u have a free psyparty in a country that freedom is stricly forbiten?
It is not like me to criticize anybody,sorry if i offended anybody but thats the way it is..
btw i dont know about Dubai,i was born there but havent been there for more than 15 years but as i hear they are diferent from other arabic countries,they always were,their culture is similar like the westerns n i think it s a great place for party..
