I think the desire to do something (in this case making 'good muisic') is more than enough. Just follow the heart and belive in your soul .. provided one has a sense of musicality. Will also plays a very important part  desire >will

I think soul kontakt means what does it take to be a successful music producer , just the thought that i can make music lets try it and see if it works out or someone who can connect to what exactly making music entails .. coz anyone can take it up but not be to successful in it. Altho one has to give it a shot initially to grow in to it as you move along the correct path and then you'll know whether you're good at it or not sucess doesnnt come overnite you see

real music or successful music .. what ever u call it is again a matter of personal opinion since there is no specific defination for what u call real/successful music..
this is teh simple reason why some people like certain music and some people dont.

when i started to create "music" i was not good at all.. but i have tried to work on getting better and now people say that they are impressed when i play some tracks for them(not psytrance)
but im not happy, and i dont feel successful yet. and i know why, its because i dont fullfill my goals and cause that i have so much more to learn to make things better.. when you know you can make things better then you are not yet successful, at least not in your own eyes.
if you are successful in other peoples eyes or your own is the question...
by accomplish your own goals you can feel successful, you will probably never be totaly satisfied with anything, so accept that you will never be perfect, but you can always do your best.
And it takes hard work. there is always a chance to taste the sweetness of success.. even if it only last for a moment...

Real music more or less translates into successful music , but succesful music read : profitable does not necessarily mean that it is real , the only case whr the latter didnt hold was in the gms case when they were making successful real music .. otherwise Im sure we're all aware of numerous examples ..

well, if this is about talent then, some people might have to try harder than others. I think you shouldnt try to look at it that way, if your'e passionate about the music then you'l enjoy what youre doing anyway, and music will flow out from your heart, will be real.
id rather die thirsty than not have the thirst at all

I think when someone wants to create music he will succeed to make it. However, you need lots and lots of time + learning + sitting on your ass.
If you want this so badly and you have the will power, you will be able to create good music eventually. It may take a long period of time though. Talent is really important, but hard work is more important here.

Real music is that music which is distinguished among all the others, new intelligent full and extermely exciting! Like you found a new world into which you can belong! This is what i mean with real music, fresh high quality psychedelic Trance or chiilout both are same.
My opinion is that if an artist does not have a musical background it's difficult to make real music...also of course desire, hearth and never give up, yes it takes long exciting years and you don't measure how good it is by what people say you know were you are and you have to keep on going until people do not understand it right away! Then you also start knowing what you can do and there you continue until you do more than you imagined to do!

So I guess psytrance isn't real music..? Following that rationale a psytrance artist isn't a "real" artist either then?
Why would it be easier to create psy than something else, if I may ask?
My answer is that yes, given enough devotion and time (and equipment of course) it is possible for anyone.
People who say that you need to be born with this or that talent to be successful (regarding anything, not only music) are generally just making excuses for not putting in the time and hard work, and not exploring their full potential.
There's nothing magical going on, its mostly just hard work. Talent speeds up the learning process and can perhaps take your creations to a different level - but that requires the talent to be fully explored, which again comes down to a matter of work.
Something to think about: there are people out there who can play you anything on the piano or the guitar etc, but they have never and never will produce a piece on their own.
If that doesn't give you the hint that creation is about deep desire, vision, ideas and dedication rather than skill and talent, then I don't know what will...
