Looks cool. I have been learning how to use Photoshop this week. So maybe I will have to make myself a better one. |

Yes i just learned a few cool tricks with PS..pretty amazing results..
f.e. use the gradient tool and choose difference as mode..then just go crazy with the tool over a picture and choose different colours on the gradient...thats how i build the backround in the avatar..
relly rocks..the avatar is pretty bad quality sadly but couldn`t get it better..
due to the image limitation of 7 kb on here and maybe my simple skills on photoshop..but thx!
first choose a nice font and install it..
you can find several nice ones on here..

btw.. sorry for offtopic..

I also use dafont.com
And a bit of on topic conversation.
Anyone here sample a real bass or DI.?
Anyone put reverb on their bass? or used less notes and use a 16th synced delay to create the other notes? |

There are no UB versions out there..cubase runs them with the vst bridge and the very last chance i see is to activate them with rosetta..
so, go on the file..right click, information and somewhere there should be a check for rosetta..this emulates UB(kind of)..
ahh..i just see no checkbox for rosetta over here..maybe you have to activate it before somewhee..have a search..
no way i see..if the checkbox isn`t there already, there is no way to get it to run..i`m even not quite sure if it was just a feature of tiger..

quadrfuzz isnt that good! i mean itz good on its own but ive found that its hard work mixing it with other elements, it creates resonants that conflict with other stuff.
Eq is ya best bet

Yooo..
Got hold of Quadrafuzz at last!.
BUT... i am not that impressed..
Before I used Fuzzplus which is free... and got a very nice 'fuzz' with that....
I don´t know if i setup the Quadrafuzz wrong or something.
Yes.. of course Eq.... I use Gliss EQ to sculpture the bas sound to fit with the kick.
and some compression.
I will post some samples later on too..
Cheers.. ! |

| Too much sub man. Sounds muddy. Do a wide cut in the 300Hz area and boost around 6kHz to add more presence. Looks like your kick (In the waveform) is running into your bass.
|
|
This I don´t understand..
A wide cut at 300 Hz... and a boost at 6 Khz.. my bass is never at those frekuencies.
I have a lowpass at like 2-2,5 Khz. at 6 Khz is where i place leads and so on.
Cheers!!

Hey guys....
Sorry about this stupid question but i have to make it...
In the begining of this topic someone say to analise the bounced audio from kick and bass.
I do it, and the picture is a little strange.
My bass wave is more up the line than down the zero crossing (normally in pro tracks is the opposite or equal).
I don't now if you guys understand what i am saying were (i can't explain better sorry).
So, what the picture are saying???
A wave up the zero crossing is more what???
Is more "high" in frequency than another down the zero crossing....
What a mess lol...
Thanks.
ps: sorry the off-topic question
