again... here's another event i would so hop on a plane & fly up for that "sounds" kik ass... however... after reading this thread no way...
instead of give a chance to trance in NYC
try trust in trance... oh wait... obviously you people can't there... sounds more like a bunch of theives & liars...

i'm sorry, i don't have the luxury of taking for granted living in a city where there are events like this being thrown... let alone having huge acts like this come thru as well...
so yes, if im going to spend $$$ on a flight plus tix to a show from out of state... i expect the headliner better damn well be there...
hey here's an idea...someone say something sooner rather than later...
so much for keeping it real...

I saw Koxbox a few moons ago and he absolutely is a master. Incredible trance.
Luna I would just go, even if there is a headliner missing that party will crack the transdimensional gates of perception and send you straight to heaven he he Not to say that you will dance surrounded by beautiful ppl. I mean if it is in your destiny, don't think it twice.

psyfaeri - first of all, you weren't at the party, you didn't pay for a ticket, you didn't lose anything, and even if you were there, you have no right to accuse anyone of being a thief, or a liar, without any foundation. I thought it was somewhat ironic that, after those comments, you were telling us "i so wanna fly up for this... "
I would have thought that, after reading the explanation by the Alladin crew, that you might have offered an apology for your remarks. That's what a grown-up would do!

Do you really think this is a "show"? For me it's an opportunity to dance all night. Really, I don't care who's playing as long as the music drives the dancefloor. Seems like you are a little too concerned with who is "headlining" the party.

cant wait for eat static, hope all goes well this time around...so i not become one of the many complaining about the lack of professionalism that some promoters show sometimes....
soset, never said anything about what you write...but now i must say....sooooooooooooo tired and bored......
maybe you should travel around, experience more, know what you are talking about and then share more with us....i agree on complaining when there are reasons, but complaints by themselves with no solutions or ACTIONS dont really make any good...
yes it does matter who is playing because the ones that are known and aprreciated are the ones that have proved having the talent and feeling for whatever they are doing so if you like to dance all night in a well "driven"dancefloor you should had realized thats not everyone that does it that well, and sometimes there will be artists that have horrible music or set and still others like, but if you can listen without being attached to it, without screwing it up with all these concepts that we have created it can be good music(sometimes)...may it be dark, twiky full on or progressive trance(that other one u know....mainstream)(imho) .......so if you know about who you are going to listen to, who you are allowing to drive through the evening journey, you will be able to choose the artists(and parties), allowing to not have surprises to get somewhere and find out that wasnt what you were looking for....
and YES it is horrible when you go an event and just find out that the artist didnt show up after you are inside....or even after you left you house!....
but on that we depend on the professionalism of both: promoters and artists......which is not that great all the time....

Kyma - firstly, I didn't complain about anything so I have no clue what the fu*k you are talking about.
and, secondly, maybe you should take your own advice and travel around to see other psytrance parties. perhaps you will come to understand what is important, and what it's all about.
As it does matter to you who's playing....it only matters to me how well it's played.....simply a difference of opinion. Also, you don't know me, so don't assume that you know anything about my musical tastes.
By the way, no need to answer. Let's just go to the party and enjoy ourselves.

traveling to experience....hehe....sure...never done anything, havent been anywhere....u dont have a clue who i am as well...so....u know trance for what, 1 year? 2? ......well dont need to say more....
