Whats wrong with dj Yo Yo flyer i think its great. she looks good why not have a nice image. people arent going to put money into making shitty flyers for a good party. also it might attract other people to the club. psy trance is a business if you guys havent realized. this is what happens.

yea i bet by the moment it sells so much as tobacco or bear it will became legal for financial exploration lol

about the promotional issue (back to topic) beign almost naked in a flyer is not a bad thing. its like we want to preceive it being bad but in reality everyone is free to do what wants if its not going against your rights. the fact of beign almost naked in flyer, in other hand shows the necessity of something, witch in the dominator society it can only be to call atention. but attention of who?? not from people that realises this whole system and only feel sorry for such necessity. for the others, they will enjoy the product and i belive it makes them happier. if you'r looking for a problem its everywere in society. this one is reaching "now" our scene.

I think it's a great image to, but non the less. It's not in the "psy" spirit which should be respected.

Oh yeah! She looks REAL good. My willy got all "whoop whoop" while seeing it. But still my friend. Wrong spirit.

Why not a shitty flyer for a good party? What do you mean? And what kind of people would you like to join? Clubbers? Ravers? Prostitutes?

I didnt mean anything with it. I dont judge, I just abserve. But here's a offtopic lyric for you all.

"The Beautiful People"

I don't want you and I don't need you
Don't bother to resist, I'll beat you
It's not your fault that you're always wrong
The weak ones are there to justify the strong

The beautiful people, the beautiful people
It's all relative to the size of your steeple
You can't see the forest for the trees
You can't smell your own shit on your knees

There's no time to discriminate,
Hate every motherfucker
That's in your way

[Chorus:]
Hey you, what do you see?
Something beautiful, something free?
Hey you, are you trying to be mean?
If you live with apes man, it's hard to be clean

The worms will live in every host
It's hard to pick which one they eat most

The horrible people, the horrible people
It's as anatomic as the size of your steeple
Capitalism has made it this way,
Old-fashioned fascism will take it away

[Chorus]

There's no time to discriminate,
Hate every motherfucker
That's in your way

The beautiful people
The beautiful people (aahh) [x4]

[Chorus x2]

The beautiful people [x8]

And yes, capetalism has made it this way.

it's even more funny to see people dont understand this all happened before ..
and i mean 40 yrs ago, after the whole 'freelove' culture of the true hippies
became commercial after the monterey festival and died before woodstock,
only to give rise to disco and punk in the seventies.
in my eyes this is similar to the rise and fall of goatrance, and after that,
the coming of different syles like dark or prog, including the shift in mentality
from the free spirit first to the divided souls after
- the loss of intuition filled up by the basic testosterone drive of power,
underlined by a substantial shift from acidic acceleration to white line wisdom.

.. forgot who said this, but will quote it anyway:
"those who dont learn from history, are bound to repeat it"

Yes, yes and YES, very elegantly depicted, you painted a picture...

The shaman's know this, thus, they still exist, and will exist long-after the fall of our current cultural paradigm is dissolved.

Yes, the ego will self-destruct. It's to obsessed with-short term gains and solutions (thus, the possibility of earning money, will persuade the dominator society, to allow such a Trojan horse) which is actually quite fortunate, since, it means that our society will inevitably dissolve.          "Love is a way of life"

It is interesting to read the different opinions and I have made an observation that I want to share. I am not trying to offend anyone. It is just an observation.

It seem like most of those who are against the sexual undertoned "look at me and how sexy I am" promotion are from countries that have a long history in the goa/psy scene whereas those who seem to be pro the debated promotion mostly come from countries that are new to the scene and have very little knowledge about this scene's History. With the Exception of DETOX of course

Just an observation that might explain a few things. As I said. It is not an offense. Just an interesting observation.

I want to add that my point is that there is a difference in culture. Where many of the people from the "old" countries in this scene seem to be more about keeping the vibe as it used to be and stay away from the commercial Highway many of the people from the "new" countries in this scene seem to be used to a scene that are as commercial as MTV parties in Ibiza. As I said it is a cultural difference and what you are used to grow up with in your Country.

All of this is of course my own personal opinion and observation and I am no near an expert on different countries and their people.

Good point. As with any scene when new people arrive the scene change. It has happened all over the world. In some countries more than other countries. Even though Israel is an "old" member of the scene psy and goa has always been much more popular or mainstream than in many of the other "old" Countries. So it was not a big step for Israel to embrace a more commecial scene with all that follows. But as always things are not all black and white and people are different and have different ways of expressing themself.

Although i aggree with most of your remarks TRIPPYJOHNNY mate i got to inform you that Greece happens to be one of the countries with the biggest history in Psy Trance especially with what it has to do with parties.

The first psy trance parties started in Greece in 1992 if i remember correctly (maybe i am a year up or a year down) and by 1996-1997 the scene here was MASSIVE with parties in both Athens (the capital) and Thesaloniki (second biggest city 500km away) featuring the best artists of the scene and i mean the best and most well known of that time, the clubs back then were legendary and on a weekend basis 2000 people gathered for some memorable events that unfortunately i didnt have the chance to enjoy but a lot of older people than me still today recall these days.Yes we might not have so many producers in Greece and yes the scene might not be so big today (big police problems you see) but Greece was,is and will always be one of the countries with the older history in psychedelic trance.

You can call Brazil and Mexico new to the scene (thats why the scenes are so commercial there) and even most of the Balkan countries that are still under 'psy trance development' but not Greece for sure.

Anyway after this small parenthesis you can continue with your nice words

P.S Since someone mentioned Israel here i got to say that since 1999-2000 the scene in Israel has changed A LOT and became much more commercial.I mean just compare the music and the artists of the past with those of today and you will understand what i mean.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Aren't you the least tired to always come back here and repeat your so tired anti israeli mantra? For how much long do you think you'll go unspotted?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
