A very funny difference between trance generations,
myself coming from the older generation, like Yuli, shahar, hujaboy etc, is that back at the time,mid-till end of the nineties,we would consider ourself SO FUCKIN LUCKY to be in a huge party with thousands of ppl. the more, the merrier!
Classic raves such as lucky dance in nitzanim and "drugless" in gany huga were events that still bring tears
(of joy) to ppl's eyes.
Nowdays,on the other hand, everything above 500 ppl is just "not undergrond anymore".

prometheus, younger brother, sensient, emok, peter, atmos, total eclipse...fuckin crazy and expensive lineup. The location is also VERY expesnive, hence the production had alot of costs...I actually NEVER played in a Moksha event(sakaya and bar giora non included) so im not really biased towards the production -Yet i will say i had a very good time, with alot of nice ppl(lots of empire members and such)and for that i can only thank moksha.
i guess by now the production(as the 3rd empire and many others) are used to the usual bashing that comes after each party, some of it legitimate and some pathetic(new users for bashing makes u a coward).

Theyre next event looks even more "commercial" - Heck,Juno reactor and Union jack are playing -
Count me in !

yuli your reply isn't biased at all....*rolleyes* you always come to production's help in threads where people post their real criticism....just because you played at one of their parties and they paid you on time doesn't mean they do a good job doing their job.

Yeah I knew this would come - let me please correct you.. I play main sets on Moksha parties since summer 2000 ( party with Tomek from Bigwigs in the north of Israel ), during those years I have played at least 10 parties for this organisation, and they ALWAYS paid on time ( EVEN WHEN THEY LOST HEAPS ).

And now let me please quote myself from previous page:

Quote:

Altogether, I am not a sucker for big ones, and this was a very big one.. so I prefer them smaller. Considering the magnitude and investment in the event, it was pretty much very good. The only three things that come up to my head are:

A. Chill out inside the Ganey Huga
B. Much more trash bins
C. Could anyone please sort the lineup thing once and for all? Differences of styles and more than 10 bpm between sets are really sometimes little too much to cope with...

This is what I call useful critisizm . I mentioned that I personally found this party too big for my taste and prefer smaller. It was too dirty, there was no Chill in the tents / Ganey Huga area and the lineup setting was pretty awkward ( one of the reasons I left earlier than expected ).

The only problem I had with those ppl that wrote their bad with the party, is that somehow most of them were new users ( and it is weird a little bit, and not first time when new users are used to bash something just to make it look bad ), and the way it was done. To call something like that "MONEY PARTY" is plain stupid, since I can assure any of you that the profit in this one was less than the profit in the TFN party that was mentioned before in that thread and happened to be half an hour away from Moksha, as a "good example", since the extra 2000 ppl in Moksha party most probably hardly covered the cost of renting Ganey Huga and bringing the tent for main floor.

Here you go, something to chew on

ok so what you are trying to say is they paid you more then once? then your opinion even more then biased...

about your "useful critisism" it seems like non of it is towards the production itself but to your "preferences".

about new users.... you are right I dont like getting calls to my cell from angry people that didn't like my critisism...

as we can see here your attitude towards production that didnt agree to pay your price, this opinion isn't biased at all...im pretty sure if u did play at one of tfn's parties you wouldn't of been talking about them like that.

peace and plur.

I didn't see any "bashings" as you call it (although i call it critisism from people that paid for all the artist and event) about the 3rd empire and there's probebly a reason for that.

To my opinion this is the exact time nake some points clear

1) Anyone who complain about the size of the event should leave his thoughts to himself and better next time find an intiment production instead of big name parties

2) critisism is okay. unless you start crapping over productions without any point. there is a small bound between standable good critic and words of fire.

3) If you look at the crowd- they had a superb crowd! the number of the faces was miniator to the number of ppl that came (try imagine r-r & psykovsky 2months ago and how the crowd appeared. another xamples needed?) most of them anyway were workers of the place from bet shean etc.

4) commerciality?
c'mon, you paid 140 nis to prometheus, haltya, sensient, atmos, total eclipse and the list goes on..it's super cheap when you think about it to the bottom- productions take 80 nis to a party which include only one international act (sometimes not even a live one)

5)The only thing that really bothered was the pigs. they ruined the vibe, the chill, the freedom and also chased me until i got lost 1.5 miles from the danceflooe and nearly passed out. but c'mon, you don't really think that moksha wanted them so much there or i'm wrong?. the comparation between t.f.n and moksha was in order to explain how you can make a wonderful event with almost zero disturbation from the pigs. We hope that moksha too will be able to do so in the future because they're one of dumbfounding productions around.

p.s

there are new usersfake users, and there are users that are here from 2003 and prefer to read than write. make the difference.

It's ok that moksha wants to make money, but why for example to bring one more time shpongle and halucinogen(are booked for september 29) if you know for sure it will be mashara again? bring some underground names!

heh, you're more narrow minded than my cat apparently.. I think the point I have made is that maybe I am booked to parties not because I suck up to organizers, but just because I am pretty good at what I do and proove it thru the years.

I think that dirty party, broken line up ( that as I stated made me go home ) and no chill out, must be pointed towards the production, unless some other ppl were responsible for it.. Come on dude, it's pretty basic no?.. Apparently the fact I am just saying this nicely made you think that I am not complaining - So this is why I am here to explain, that you don't need to call someone names and talk shit, you can just say nicely what you didn't like..

Explain again please - your logic is a little bit too much for me I guess. When new users bash something and there are few of them, as the history of this forum tought us well, there is a chance they might have other reasons to do that . It happened a lot in the past heh, and many times IP addresses were checked and very funky details were revealed. I am not saying this is the case here, but it looks little funny.

Actually I have no problem with that production at all. In the end of the day this is only business.. That is how I see it Everyone takes the decisions for his own good. The example I gave once again didn't reach it's destiny - It was about to show a big production that cuts the costs on artists, to get more profit from the party ( big crowds ) unlike productions like Moksha for instance that invest heaps of money in quality lineups and get bashed for being greedy

peace and plur.

Hope I explained myself good enough now. I think there is no place for misunderstandings anymore

PS.. And what I am waiting for that someone will write that the reason mr. Hanky wrote his post, is because he never played Moksha, as he said, and now he really wants to play there.

Funny ppl.          A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Thanx Sagiv and thanx omka for giving me and adam the opportunity to play unique music in such a big and fun festival!

Leave everything aside, all the talks and bullshit, let people enjoy the vibes, dont want to come to this event dont come, just dont come and then cry.

hope to play agin in such great events. vibes were really great and i saw every single one of u smiling and dancing so stop crying.

peace and love (dont forget those words)

zappa.           pot and lsd. lsd can not be smoked, but if you get pot spiced with lsd, and you make the joint : while preparing the bud to be smoked alot of lsd will go through your fingers into the blood stream. so yes pot spiced with lsd does have an efect on it´s own
