if you can check the focal cms 65, i just moved them back in my studio and WOW these things are stunning...i think i like them more than my adam and they cost 1/3 less, pleasant sound but still detailed and great translation ,tight and fast low end ...i didn t like much the focal solo but i would like to try them again now hehe you should consider the solo and cms 65 imo

this thread made me very horny for the adam SX series... people say it owns most old famous speakers

but the focal also really look promising...
yeah, i know about the air gap...
here are the front and the back.
(i got no time for cleaning up, sorry)
the window:
if you say it lets deep freqs pass, its perfect! i always can place a mobile foam/rockwool there for highs.
corner at the bed:
i only could basstrap the half up to the top, would that be enough?
other corner at the bed:
you see there are those shelfs..., so no place for the basstrap... should i put the basstrap at the wooden shelf like i show in the pic?
horizontal corners:
how do i treat them? i thought of angular absorberpads?

You should make your bed before posting pics of your bedroom on an online community ;D
You don't need to proof everything in your room, sometimes having irregularities in the room helps with finding the right sound!

haha yeah, it was a very wild night^^
my luck i didnt forgot to clean up the sex toys lol
AND i was smart enough to not show my reflecting naked body in the window 
thanks for the roomstuff advice, i think testing will be
effective here, it wont go in my head that i only tread 3 corners grrr lol

a friend is lusting these adam s1x report when you got them hehe , but check for the port noise issue ,in the gearslutz thread adam said they will offer something to fix it for the fulll x serie if i m right so they might have same problem.
about the window i have no idea man, me i would put a first reflection panel on it that you can remove when you want.
i would make all the first reflection pannels by myself with 10 cm thick or more if you have the money and some basstraps from floor to ceiling in corners (all that is lot of work but it make you save lot of money)

using the s1´s for two years now. they are good, especially for small rooms, realize that they are very honest. even well masterd tracks sound sometimes quite compressed on them, good for mixing, but maybe its also nice if the monitors give more fun like i´ve heard from some mackies. be carefull with buying speakers with too big woofers for your room. they might be better in a big room but can give a problem with a small room
and your room is small. |

thanks mike! but that rockwool isnt that dangerous i got told?
only if cutting the material, small particles can go in to my loung.
im also planing a new worktable for nicer workflow.
what you think about it? any suggestions?

for the desk i made a little different plan now...
yesterday i planed the treatment!
20 pieces of DIY-basstraps (4 inch thick rockwool + 2inch airgap).
this is the frontview of the plan:
(the colourdifference tells the size...)
ill post the room again when im finished 
this is gonna be awesome xDD
