How much does it cost to live round india, living in basic accommodation but going to parties as much as possible. I've allocated about 15 a day on average bearing in mind somedays all i'll be doing will be sitting on a beach doing poi/contact juggling. Some people have said that for 15 i can live like a king but others say different.

It also depends on what level of comfort you want over here ...
$15 a day is too less if u think you wanna party and bump all over the place ...
Am sure ... u have not included your travel expenses in this $15/day ///
coz then you really have to re-plan everything ...
Food :
Eatable ---> 200 /day (clean but not so tasty)
Travel :
Local buses and metros in some cities not so expensive ....

OOOOfff am tired man .. !..
ask for more if you'd like .. !!
Peace..!!!

hello forum, i will be travelling hampi to gokarna in july and wanted to know what i can expect in those places at those times of the year. parties are not my priority but if there is some scene over there i would love to check it out. i heard some hippies live out there and they have their own local scene happenin. As for gokarna at that time, what can i expect.. a quiet empty place, or tonnes of indian and ferang tourists everywhere? id also love to hear any recommendations for anything related to hampi and gokarna, including (but not limited to): places to see, places to lodge, places to eat at, anything you feel is worth seeing or doing. much thanks!!

boOM Shanti!!

Well first of all thats not particularly the best time to be in gokarna.. due to rains or you gonna be roasting your nads off.. also not to sure if there is any accomodation during that time except namaste cafe... but other than that goks is a great plac.. and im sure you'll have a blast.. just carry some rain gear...
as far as hampi some friends have opend a sweet lil theme place to stay there called "arba mystika", they are a young indian couple and im sure will tell you where to go and what to do... check out the temples and hippie island in hampi...
hope this helps you.
